Re: GA St Discussion-Game Thread
A PAT is 50/50 with this kicker. Why not try the 2? And agree with the comments on D. We just have guys who must have no iq. They CANNOT hold their assignment and chase all over the place. If I was someone who did my job on the line, I would be going nuts at these guys. It starts with the coach. An...

Re: September 7, 2024
So by saying that they weren’t that good and we beat them by 2 points, aren’t you basically proving the point that even a good G5 would have a hard time beating a bad P5? I stated in both of my posts that I wasn't disputing that point. I highlighted the specific item I was disagreeing with. They we...

Re: September 7, 2024
I’m willing to bet that if someone pulled the stats for G5 wins over P5’s for the past 30 years you would generally see that a great majority of those wins were against P5’s on either declines or down years- UNC and USC the year we beat them both . Conversely the G5’s who won were probably really g...

Re: And once again
For the last time: you should not believe people who say "funding secured" because they have inside information. In my opinion, no athletics department should be allowed to just take on debt without showing a real plan for servicing that debt. It was irresponsible to say that funding was secured on...

Re: Final conference ratings
Thanks for posting this. For whatever reason, there are still some Sun Belt naysayers on this board when there are multiple data-based ranking systems that have it as the highest-ranked G5 conference. Two more: Real Time RPI: http://realtimerpi.com/college_football/ncaaf_conf_Men.html Colley's: http...

Re: Let's talk about Clark
Seriously?, threads all over this board asking for him to be fired. Personally, I like to think of most fans bases as being on a bell curve. You got your die hard apologists at one end (15%) and your fire everyone always crowd at the other (15%). Then there are the other 70%ers, they differ slightl...

Re: 9/30 Other Scores
I just watched the first half, first I’ve watched JMU this season. South Alabama looks absolutely awful, although they started to find their footing in the second quarter (until the pick six). JMU was also on the fortunate end of some significant calls (and no-calls) but have still managed to get ca...

Room at Courtyard Available for Troy/Gameday 9/17
Possibly a longshot here, but I booked a room at the Courtyard last weekend when it was announced that Gameday was coming to Boone. Prices had already been marked up so I paid an arm and a leg for it ($470 total with taxes and fees). Turns out I no longer need the room, but didn't realize it was non...

Re: He's baaack...Cam,is this good?
First play, touchdown. Haters will hate. Annnnnddd the flag or his unsportsman like conduct. Who cares? It is enforced on the kickoff. Btw he has touched the ball twice and we have scored twice. 1 touchdown in the last 35 drives. 2 today on our first two drives, both coming from cam. I believe he g...

Re: KU v Coastal
Coastal does not strike me as significantly better than ECU at this point in the game. I don't see the same fire they were playing with last year.

Re: UNC loves Hubert!
I hope he does well. The fraternities of coaches, past colleagues at ESPN and past teammates have nothing but great things to say about him. Be great to see a good guy do well. While he does seem like a nice guy, I got a better idea. The tar holes tank and it sets the program back at least a decade...

Re: SunBelt continues to win -
Agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment of this thread. For the first half of the season I was pulling for coastal, just like most of this board (from what I could tell). They were a fun story and I had nothing against them, plus it's good for the conference to have multiple good teams. The second h...

Twitter Account
Does anyone have any idea why our @AppState_FB twitter account isn't verified? We have the most followers of any Sun Belt football account by far and yet many of the other accounts are verified and ours isn't. Even the App State Athletics account is verified, and it has 12k-13k fewer followers than ...

Re: Yosef Club Donation Thread
I love it! Let's keep the momentum going. That's $300 (or more) that YC has generated today they otherwise wouldn't have received. Who's going to be next? It doesn't have to be $100. Every dollar counts.
