Re: Hubert Davis to NC State...
It would be amusing (pending the results) but what’s really funny is Rick Pitino saying NC State and UNC are basically equal now. You know that had to ruffle some feathers. The name on the front of the jersey no longer matters. How much are you paying is the most important data point. No more "blue...

Montana's Hauck Retires
"Dealing with what college football has become is not always enjoyable as a head coach. I just haven't been enjoying it enough. I want to enjoy my career and my job." "Dealing with agents and the transient nature of this and the lack of forward thinking by young people.." "But as college football ha...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Why? Integrity of the game? Because actions should have consequences? Acting like a petulant child shouldn't be rewarded. Actually a bunch of schools turned down bowl bids. I don't understand why it should be a requirement. It is kind of a requirement for SBC because we begged ESPN to create bowls ...

Re: Watauga Pioneers
Watauga won again tonight (31-28 over Sun Valley to go to 13-0) and will host the Western 6A final next weekend for a chance to go to the state finals. GO PIONEERS!!! Last night's game reminded of the playoff game against Brevard back in 1978, won on a field goal in that game too. Anyway, that was ...

Re: Week 7 games
Well what IU did today was beyond impressive. Cignetti isn’t my favorite person, but I’m impressed by what he’s accomplished there and how quickly he’s done it. Whoever thought the Hoosier’s football program would end up being their the crown jewel? They should enjoy it; I imagine Cig will bolt for...

Re: GA St discussion
I am concerned with QB3. Even with a huge lead did not look good. Hasn’t even flashed once. I’m not sure he develops to anything more than a backup. Hopefully we keep Kohl and purchase another backup. Hopefully we keep this kid. He was a 4* until he committed to App. https://247sports.com/Player/na...

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood
I'm not surprised with people being frustrated but there is a bit of overreaction. I never felt like the other team was beating us- I was frustrated that we were trying to beat ourselves. I'll list the + and - as I see them: +We controlled the line of scrimmage- both sides of the ball (502-216 total...
