Re: NEZ work today

Two questions:
- where are the columns?
- do you need umbrellas under the stands?

Re: NEZ work today

The AC Marriott in south Charlotte is another example of poor planning. They build the rooftop bar and restaurant to face south not north (with a view of uptown) on accident. Quite the miss...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

This stimulus bill is a great opportunity to push our political agenda. We should attach emission reductions and voter registration riders in the bill. Everyone has examples of asinine thoughts on both sides. Hopefully both sides put petty politics aside today and pass the bill to help those that wi...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

https://informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/covid-19-coronavirus-infographic-datapack/ Data is 5+ days old so it's fluid. I'd argue the average deaths per day is meaningless at this point though, similar to the 4% mortality rate the media has used (calculated correctly, just misleading due to ...

Re: Hints at Next Season

I can't see Bibby as our starter. His lateral quickness isn't good enough to guard starters in the SBC.

Unless we add a PG I could see the starting 5 as:

Forrest
Delph
Gregory
K. Lewis
J. Lewis

Re: NEZ work today

What if they used the field level patio as the Yosef Club Room pre-game with no access to the elevated club seats.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Science is great, loved it as a student and enjoy working with my kids on it as well.

Have a theory, test it, prove it or learn from it, try again. A LOT of that is going on right now.

Re: Extra year of eligibility for spring sports athletes vote

Can everyone get a do-over March-May, not just athletes?

Re: TV worth watching

I watched the SC game yesterday. We made a lot of mistakes in fourth quarter. Eli's aggressiveness early in games is only matched by his conservatism late in games. I will not miss that aspect of his game.

Re: NEZ work today

Not a fan of the support columns underneath the NEZ seats. Hope the finished product looks better.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Mcleansville as a proponent of listening to the experts I’d suggest using their data when discussing mortality rates. Their numbers are lower than 4% and continue to decline as testing increases. Still higher than other viruses, but let’s use guidance of the experts. “ Nevertheless, given the residu...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

This mindset baffles me. Every country has their best minds on the planet working on this, every country it doing their best with the best resources available. They will find a solution.

Thought we could all be on the same team for once.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

We will get through this I have no doubt. Calming voices are needed more at this time than what if games by those that have little to no power to make decisions.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

At this time I'd argue posting half stories is just as irresponsible as brushing this thing off (which I'm clearly not). There is more than enough fear associated with this subject. My point on the 40% headline was that wasn't the whole story and needed context which the CDC link I provided. Every v...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

CDC is one of most risk adverse groups putting data and information out there. If you have a source they refutes what they are saying I'd love to read about it to educate myself. Please post a link.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

I posted it for my friend AppSt94 because he and I were discussing that topic yesterday - why in the name of all that is holy would I want to fear-monger you saint or anyone else ??? No context given, send a PM if that's the case. Can you not see how people can read that as fear mongering... Mislea...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

This is fear mongering. If you're going to post a headline, provide a link so others can read the whole story. You took the first line from a NY Times headline and posted it here without the second line that stated a significantly lower severity rate than older people... This is something we've know...
