Re: All Spring athletes get extra year

Conceptual it’s the right thing to do, in reality it’s going to be tough to justify for many D1 programs fiscally.

In another thread we are asking how many programs will cut sports because of this.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Yep, nuts. Some left wing media just last week was trying to say there was division between Fauci and Trump. Don’t even hint at that, the last thing we need is that man who seems to be loved by the public (love he’s done interviews with basketball players and others) and has Trumps ear to get replac...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

I’ll take it, I know that’s as close as we’re going to get. I said all leaders, mayors, governors, and president are doing a good job. My governor and mayor are democrats and are making tough decisions each day. They have mobilized to get a tremendous amount of medical supplies and tests available i...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Ha! Pretty much nailed the FBS discussion, that has been our biggest disagreement through the years.

There is no evidence you have agreed the Democrats added pork to the bill in this discussion. It’s ok, you have that right as an American, just own it.

Again, Saint, you are wrong - someone posed the question and asked for specifics - I know you don't take time to actually see who and what I have agreed with but maybe you should before continuing your attacks -
I’ll translate. That’s a no I can’t.

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Because someone asked for specifics - Here are some of the provisions Republicans made sure were in the bill. This is not a comprehensive list, just a sampling: A windfall for real estate investors allowing them “to use losses generated by real estate to minimize their taxes on profits from things ...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

What we are missing are true moderates. Each party plays to its extremes during the primaries, making a moderate unelectable in that stage. Then leaders in Congress are listening and acting on those extreme views pressing both sides farther apart. I believe most people can agree on 80+% of the count...

Please back off the political rhetoric.
It’s a topic contained to a single thread. Why can grown adults not post on a message board about things that are becoming inherently political? Thought this was America.
Some people are taking this approach to social distancing.

Pulled this from the SBC board. We’ll see how close it is to reality. Post: #150RE: The CORONAVIRUS thread Trump is supposed to release his plan to reopen economy this week. From leaks the plan is to base it on when each state is scheduled to peak in terms of virus cases. (Moving target, but for mos...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Huh? Weird turn there. Bottom line. Both sides are corrupt and using this for their gain. Congressmen trading stocks with information, pushing agendas during the bill passage, taking extreme stances at every chance. Hopefully this further exposes the political duopoly to more people and we can final...

I assume you’re calling out the pork that was proposed to the stimulus bill as well. I admit to not knowing every detail of the bill. At $2.2 Trillion I could see how some pork is in there but I don't have any specifics that I would call out. What do yo see as pork? Please stop pretending to be ign...

Re: Hints at Next Season

Three Jucos the next couple of years would be welcomed.

I remember Marshall Phillips and Cedric Holmes working out pretty well.

Signing 3-4 Jucos a year is desperation, signing one a year is far from it.
