Re: AAC just lost their big 3

UNCC grad here. UNCC Athletics department just sent out the email about joining ACC. While I would love App to play ECU and UNCC every year, I wish UNCC went to the Sun Belt.

BTW I follow App since my daughter (and money) goes to App :D

Re: App vs ECU getting bumped

Do the students have class that Friday? I am sure a number would skip but having class the next day will impact student attendance. I live in Charlotte and my daughter will be a Junior at App and another daughter most likely a Freshman at ECU. I have a feeling my house will be packed Thursday after ...

Mario Acitelli to Elon.
That will be good experience for his eventual return to the Mountain. :D
His mother and father went to App as well. Looking forward to him coming home.

Re: Our Next Head Mountaineer

Guys, like you, I enjoy the mutual disgust we have for each other's program and look forward to that continuing. However, if I can be a grown up for just a minute, Charlotte's success is mostly independent of App's and vice-versa. Sure, we will compete for some of the same recruits, but there are e...

Why the fuck aren't we running? Drink doesn't know how to handle a damn lead.
Then people won’t yell that he is too conservative and does not finish people off. Either way we complain.

Any of you guys annoyed by the P6 on the back of the helmet? Not sure why but I admire it and hate it at the same time.

Postgame - Louisville vs Wake

I did not see this posted already. A few mentions about App by Coach Satterfield after the Wake game.

Re: Kenan Stadium

I am a UNCC graduate. My daughter goes to App so I like to follow the App team.

For the App / UNCC game I wore my UNCC shirt as a way to tease my daughter. It was great to see the App fans treat me well and win with respect.

I have known the Acitelli family for almost 30 years. The family has a long connection to App. He is great role model. I hope he gets the chance to come back in the future as a coach.

Re: Alabama-Clemson Predictions

My prediction for game time is help the kids with homework, put them to bed, watch a bit of the game, get board, turn it off and continue with Red Dead Redemption 2. It hard to get thru a game like that when you can only play it after the kids are sleeping. Feel your pain. Took me over 100 hours ov...

Re: UNC-C Hire

As a UNCC alumni, I will take anyone who has proven themselves to turn a dumpster fire around. I really do not think UNCC would find someone like Houston when there are bigger schools and great opportunities still open (App). Plus, Charlotte still struggles getting the best local kids. Most want to ...

Re: Mad? Lets do something about it!

Yes. There is a student club. I am a parent of an App student (freshman). I am not an alumni but love to follow any sport program that are important to my kids. During parent orientation they told me about the program. I signed my daughter up. I think it was $25 a year. It gives her points post grad...

I have been taking the family to Sams Nursery near Linville/Newland for the past 18 years. It is a choose and cut farm. About 25 minutes from campus.
