We will curb stomp CCU in Boone.
Hope so. We need to make a statement. If we stay healthy and have good play from our QB then we can do it.

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

Did anyone hear any feedback from scouts that attended I talked to a couple of them that were there. Fairly good for the most part. Hannon likely gets a shot because of his long snapper ability. Just not sure if it is a tryout (if they are allowed) or a contract. I would expect Neuzil, SJC, and Tho...

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

Same reason SATs, ACTs and GPAs aren’t public information. I don’t know if anyone has ever tested publication of Wonderlic scores in a court of law, but I’d hate to be the defendant. Better have some deep pockets. That’s not my point. Why make any of the physical or mental attributes public. Seems ...

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

ZT should work on his receiving skills Just based on 40 you would think so but his jumps and shuttles were not quite enough that I would imagine scouts are telling him to switch. I thought maybe if he were to switch he could be a safety. This year is the best year for him though because the draft c...

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

Here are the official results for our 4 players who worked out. Hannon was the only one who did not have an agent on the paperwork he filled out. Re: Justin Forrest Returning

I was told next season’s basketball team could take a slide. Looks like it could be a special season and these two guards making another year commitment confirms it. Definitely agree. Could be so special that we will lose Kerns to a big money job but the program would be left in such a good place t...

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

I think that the 40 is a ridiculous test for anyone except a receiver or a corner (maybe a safety). Who cares how fast a 300 lb lineman runs. Same for a QB or a fullback. If NH gets a shot at fullback he isn’t taking off down the field for long runs. NFL teams get the 40 for everyone to compare but...

30 reps for Neuzil? This is pretty good!!!
Yes it is indeed. Someone will sign him or give him a tryout (if they are allowed). He did pretty well.

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

Wow. SJC ran a 4.47 forty!? Expectation was 4.50-4.55 so with training that is not a big surprise. Word from someone at pro day was that SJC is a 7th round or PFA. If that is indeed what most people think then I would imagine teams are going to be recruiting him hard with texting, calls, and tellin...

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

i was really surprised to see Hannon on the list. Seemed like he was moving on from football. Hope it works out well for him. He is a smart and tough player I heard two weeks ago he was testing and that shocked me. I asked the person who said he was working out if they were sure. They said they con...

Re: ASU Pro Day is April 1

Hannon is a fullback prospect. Wow!!! That's pretty nifty. Yes, Give 'em hell!!! Heard Hannon has dropped down to 240s in hopes to get a looks at fullback since everyone was told he was 260 by our staff and is expected to be around 6'0. Most teams wrote him off as a center so if he puts up great te...

Re: FCS In The Spring - Who Are You Rooting For?

I saw where VMI is ranked. Hope they can keep it up. Definitely not a normal year for VMI with a 4-0 start, ranked, and a QB that is getting NFL looks. SoCon well repped in latest STATS poll with Chatty (#9), VMI (#14), and Furman (#20). ETSU also receiving votes. I'm glad we are in FBS though. I w...

Re: John Settle

John Settle is one of the all-time greats! I still have a "John Settle for Heisman" button someone sold on campus back in the day. I met him several times on campus between classes and he was so humble and appreciative of comments from fellow students. Once he even stopped and thanked me for coming...

Re: John Settle

When he crushes it at UK, maybe he will get the respect he deserves. Hopefully he can then get an OC position which is long overdue or maybe he pulls a Clark/David and goes from position coach to HC. Either way Coach Settle UK just got a lot better by bringing you into the fold. Agreed. I would lov...

Re: 3 Apps Named All-Sun Belt

The sum of the team is greater than its parts. 3 when there is just a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with player of the year awards is actually really good when you consider the lack of specialty awards. We don't have a defensive team, all-rookie team, and all the specialty stuff that some many leagues do. Kern...
