Going back, construction on 77 from Just north of Lake Norman/Mooresville area through Charlotte is atrocious. I would take 321 just because 55mph constant beats the hell out of stop and go for an hour on 77.
321 is 70 mph in places

Even better!!

Re: Boone, NC - The Best Places To Retire in America Are All College Towns

The wife and I are currently on our search for land in Watauga and Ashe counties. Was a day late twice already on making offers on great deals. We found 20 acres with a stocked trout stream and a small three bedroom farm house listed at $145k. 10 miles outside Boone to the north. All the hunting and...

Re: Troy Tickets

As of today I still have not received my tix for Troy. I called their ticket office and spoke to Ryan. This young man gets customer service! He was calm and reassuring it isn't a problem. He put me on a brief hold and told me he needed to check on something. When he came back he told me he wasn't su...

What if we face them in New Orleans? It could happen. But for now beat Troy!!!!
If that happens I hope we beat them senseless. The way our DB's have improved, a couple of those long attempts will be INTs. One thing I don't see them trying again - trying to hurdle Jordan Fehr!!

Re: Troy discussion

I have a question for those in the know. With Reed out, I was wondering about the Freshman TE from Charlotte, Kofoed. Has he played any this year and is he ready for any meaningful snaps? He has played in 1 game thus far. Miller Gibbs is also a TE. He has the size, hopefully he is developing the sk...

Appster my records show the game Friday night. Just booked Days Inn as well. Not many options that don't require 2 night minimum.
Typo. The reservations are for Friday. It did make me panic for a second, though!!!

Re: Conference Championship Tix

It would be great if we could sign in to our Yosef Club accounts and put a deposit on the Conference Championship tickets as soon as the game is over at Troy - assuming we win of course. Last year I drove back to Boone and waited in line on Sunday morning after Saturday's win. I'm staying in Troy F...

Re: Miller Hill Expansion/Re-Grade Done In Time For 2020 Season!

Another way to bring the stands closer to the field could be by replacing the existing lower stands with re-graded ones. I just wonder if that would put the lower level at such a shallow angle that sight lines would stink. I also wish we'd go to individual chair backs. Even as a student I hated ble...

Re: Road Crowds vs. Home Crowds

The team plays better in warmer weather. Hard to argue based on the record but honestly this makes me sad. We should be hardened against the elements in ways other teams aren't. I’m not sure this is fair. The only example is GS and that was scheme related. I think it would be really hard to have th...

Re: "We Ready" Kickoff song

The only time "We ready" is appropriate is before the first kick off. But even then there are so many superior options to it, why even consider it? Rarely do we see anything with full support on here, but this may be one! Get rid of it.

Uhhhh...weren't we kinda supposed to win this one? Come on Coach. I have faith you can turn this around before the slow start gets out of hand. we have talent, just need the team to gel and find some rhythm. Go Apps!!

Re: End Zone cam, concrete being poured

I hope the stadium side seating comes out significantly from the structure. As it is now its way to far away from the field. I trust there is a good reason but the distance from the endzone has irked me from the beginning. Who enjoys seeing a receiver catch (or not) a pass and then disappear in the...

We found an Airbnb loft not far from the stadium for Saturday night. Making the drive Saturday morning then staying the night. Didnt want to drive 9 hours, watch the game, then drive back 9 hours.

Re: TX St discussion

I have a random question, my family and I have lucked into getting suite access for the Texas State game. I've never been fancy enough to be anywhere close to a suite at a football game. Can someone help my wife and I figure out if we need to wear anything nicer than normal (I typically throw on my...
