Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Oh - OK - so there is no republican pork in this bill? - Who knew? Not saying it’s not there but point at it so I can do my best to hold the proper folks accountable. I honestly don’t doubt that both sides put Pork in the bill I just haven’t had anyone point out the right leaning pork. Give us some...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

I admit to not knowing every detail of the bill. At $2.2 Trillion I could see how some pork is in there but I don't have any specifics that I would call out. What do yo see as pork? Here is a list of the "pork" put into the final bill: $10,804,687,000 for international development $350,000,000 for ...

I assume you’re calling out the pork that was proposed to the stimulus bill as well. I admit to not knowing every detail of the bill. Re: Coronavirus Superthread

Huh? Weird turn there. Bottom line. Both sides are corrupt and using this for their gain. Congressmen trading stocks with information, pushing agendas during the bill passage, taking extreme stances at every chance. Hopefully this further exposes the political duopoly to more people and we can fina...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

I like the Onion.Funny stuff. Unless the quote is wrong then again they are reporting facts. Yes part of the article included some editorial but I am not aware of VF leaving out any part of the discussion that would change the conversation. At the end of the day the article presented factual quotes...

82,000+ cases - the most of any country in the world Are you putting stock in that China number? Exactly. China has got to be lying about their cases, just like North Korea. We will never know these numbers. How many are getting tested, how many are actually coming forward to be tested, counting me...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

No one has a monopoly on crazy statements on any matter in this country unfortunately. Your statement is likely true. Also better to have sides and open discussion then have no room for discussion and dissent. I have no issue with discussion or dissent. Those are both akin to competition which is g...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

I don’t think that anyone is marginalizing death. It isn’t as simple as that. Death happens everyday due to activities that we take for granted and are often preventable when common sense is applied. I think the point that is being made is that the overall likelihood of dying from this is quite low...

Looks like the CDC site may not be updating. From Johns Hopkins. In the US 35,530 cases 443 deaths Mortality rate 1.2% Another interesting article on the site talks about treating folks with the plasma from recovered patients. Sounds like a proven approach. Two quick things to keep in mind. 1-Some ...

Re: NEZ work today

This isnt surprising as logistics would be difficult to get all members that don’t have NEZ seating out in time. Still somewhat disappointing as I grew up watching warmups from Owens, I loved those memories as a child. Don’t follow why it would be hard to get folks out, just close the room 30 minut...

Re: This stinks...

I have rewatched a few games over the last couple of week. Elijah was a difference maker. Played a really good game against UNC. We have some studs to replace. A lot of studs coming in to replace them as well. App's two-deep at ILB seems to be essentially inter-changeable. One thing we should thank...

Re: Coronavirus Superthread

We will get through this I have no doubt. Calming voices are needed more at this time than what if games by those that have little to no power to make decisions. What if those that have the power to make decisions do not have the knowledge nor the intelligence to seek out and then follow that knowl...
