The short answer is there’s always money. The long answer is how do you allocate it. For an athletic department already running lean and penny pinching, I don’t know how we have both a dedicated ST coordinator and a dedicated OC.

Probably not considering we are already moving money around the entire athletic program as is.

He conveniently announced he was committing at 7:30 and then conveniently announced an offer to a competing school (WVU) at 5:30. Driving up the price as much as he could I guess.

How many portal players who come to Boone will be there more than 1 season? It’s not even worth learning their names anymore.

Another way to look at it, could be that those will be the highest impact players. Either proven FCS starters with 1 year left or guys who ball out and move up again.

I think we’ve seen that you have to have multiple guys capable of leading the backfield at any moment in college. At least 3 that you feel really good about. Lewis got nicked against Marshall and Ark State I believe so the odds of him going 12+ games would seem low.

If DLo & Satt flame out at the same time, it could be a perfect storm. Gillin may have to be gone first though.
