Re: Drink interviews w/ Ark

It's good practice to continually interview, even if you aren't 100% sold on an opening. It keeps you fresh and makes you evaluate what you've done. Totally agree. Always take an interview. Good practice and you may be surprised at what they have to say when you talk to them. That's exactly what ha...

Re: Coaching carousel

Let's be clear. I love Drink but if we do lose him at some point I have total confidence that Doug Gillin will make another great hire and our program will continue on the same trajectory. Our program was not based on Satt, and it's not based on Drink...it's bigger than any one man. Agree...I have ...

Re: Rival??

Marshall was always the team I considered our rival growing up. I despised them. Their fans had quite the reputation. GaSo definitely now. The peak of intensity for those games I think were during the Armanti years and right after. Now that they're pretty good again, it's coming back. Although I don...

Re: Article on Old Mountain Jug History

I remember that last Jug game. There was more anxiety for that game than for any game in a long time or since (it was discussed on this board). We all knew it was the last game, and it was improbable, but possible, ("so, you're saying there's a chance") that the unthinkable could happen and it be in...

Re: Conference Championship Tix

The parking $$ doesn't bother me. I think why some are irritated is that it was a surprise, as in we just assumed if we got Yosef parking for the regular season that we'd get a space for the SB Championship game too. The surprise part of it made it feel like a money grab. We choose to give to Yosef ...

Re: Miller Hill Expansion/Re-Grade Done In Time For 2020 Season!

This is great. I didn't think regrading the hill was a for sure thing. I think for those who don't like the hill (this includes myself), the main issue is the distance from the field...this will solve that, should make everyone happy (almost), and make our beautiful stadium even more picturesque.

Like how we fought off a little adversity, and won an ugly grind-it-out game in horrible weather. Way to go boys!

Re: I've put it off long enough

Before I'd cancel I'd call your provider and see if they'll negotiate a deal. I've renegotiated with DirecTV twice and have gotten mine lowered to $50/mth each time. They'll probably try to offer you movie channels...but I told them flat out I didn't want movie channels, I wanted a lower price. As f...

Re: USC Twitter Bad Mouthing Our Fanbase

I like the "A-S-U" chant. It brings me back to my childhood going to games. It's also one that can break out more spontaneously, where as "App - State" is more orchestrated and slow forming. I do also like the App-State chant. I say we keep both.

Re: USC Twitter Bad Mouthing Our Fanbase

All of the App fans around me were good...we were in the upper deck...but I will say I saw our fans in the endzone corner waving bye and taunting many of the USC fans who were leaving early in the 3rd quarter as they walked by into the tunnel

Re: Terminate Ted Roof's contract

Great job by the D. I've been critical of Roof, but I was happy to have my expectations wrong for this Saturday and they did a great job vs USC. Good game plan by him and good execution by the D. Wonderful win.

Re: Women's Soccer - Sarah Strickland

Sarah Strickland isn't the one out there not marking players and missing the ball and letting goals in. Not her fault. She's a great coach. I really hope this is sarcasm because either way this is her fault. It's either recruiting incompetent players or poor coaching to where they don't see the imp...

FSU fires Willie Taggart

Kinda surprised that he didn't get one more year. He was terrible, but that's a hefty buyout.

Re: Ted 'The Truth' Roof Appreciation Thread

My question to that is what was different in the 4th Q from the previous 3? - GaSo wasn't running different plays - They kinda were. They were only calling runs and qb keeps. Dont think there was a single option play in the 4th Yes, they were different plays. Georgia Southern changed its play calli...

Still bummed about the loss...not just the loss but how it happened and how quickly and radically our situation has changed, from talk about the Cotton Bowl to now needing help to even get to our own conference championship game. This stretch has worried me all year....our rival on a short week, Sou...

Re: I moved, what's your excuse

Several factors combined. 1. Weekday game...much of our fanbase lives 1.5+ hrs away...people work....when fans who normally come on Saturdays can't make a weekday game, our fanbase isn't large enough to replace them. 2. Weather...for me weather isn't a factor, but for many it is. 3. Halloween...many...
