We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: App vs ECU getting bumped

Two entitled P5's bullying a much anticipated in-state game between 2 G5's off their date that has been set for over 3 years, a tale old as time.

Nike Mountaineer Football Gear

Not sure who else has been following but the bookstore is trying to get in an order of those really cool script Mountaineer sweatshirts (and I think Nike TIGMA shirts too) that were seen during the USC game. This process has been going on since at least mid-November 2019 and whenever I call asking f...

Re: Appalachian Unpopular Opinions

Unpopular opinions to trigger young and old alike: 1. We should have a marketing task force similar to NBA and MLS teams who help build attendance (call former season ticket holders, better deals for season tickets, increase student yosef club and fraternity involvement). We need to average 30k per...

Re: Appalachian Unpopular Opinions

Definitely agree with ya on the hill, but sounds like they are going to improve upon it a lot in the off-season (hopefully they do bc that's where I'll be sitting in 2020  ) [/quote] What are they going to do and is this for sure going to happen this offseason? I feel like the hill can be utili...

Re: Appalachian Unpopular Opinions

I don't know if it's unpopular by this board, but these are unpopular with a few of my friends: - I hate the gold pants & helmets (actually more yellow than gold) - I've never enjoyed sitting on the hill. Sorry, but i don't like grass stains or mud stains on my pants. - Taylor Lamb was average and ...

Apparently, with the recent commits over the past 2 days, our ranking has greatly improved.
In the 247 rankings, we are now #1 in the Belt and #68 overall.
Do we get a ring for finishing first in recruiting?

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC

Is WF then a “must win” game as far as NY6 implications go? If you want to have any real confidence, they're all "must win" games. Wisconsin would have some wiggle room but that is assuming no AAC team (or Boise State) has an undefeated or one loss team. Any loss technically opens the door wider fo...

Board of Trustees Friday Meeting

Per Ethan Joyce (via Twitter), BoT has a conference call Friday. No other details but would assume it's regarding the HC.

Has to be Clark if it's this quick, no?

Re: Thank you Drink

Drink did thank the players yesterday in a meeting stating it was because of them that he was given this opportunity. So even though he might not have thanked us as fans, he thanked the players which means more to me. He should have thanked Satterfield more lol Also heard the players went nuts when...

Re: Our Next Head Mountaineer

One of the silver linings is that next year's roster is very strong and will help with the transition of the new coach. If we were hiring after next year, they'd be coming into a situation with almost an entirely new offense. I just hope that Drinkwitz doesn’t pull a “General Sherman” and burn Atla...

Re: App State players are speaking out on Twitter

Drinkwitz’s buyout is appropriate, in my opinion. If I’m reading the contract correctly, the athletic department will actually make more money on the buyout than we will have spent on Drinkwitz’s salary. No sure how much we'd make tho bc I believe we will end up paying close to $1 million after all...
