Re: Herd game update - Thursday
How does our allotment of weeknight games compare with what other Sun Belt teams are getting? Are we being singled out? Is the treatment unfair? Here's my point: we're in an FBS conference now and this is part of the deal where the league has TV contracts. So as much as it stinks, App did sign up fo...

Heads up: I'd bet some collectors-edition bricks will soon be available from Gardner and Coltrane as well.

Re: Can we help make this forum better?
Only time I really get the "resource limit" message is on gameday. It's especially common when the team isn't playing up to the stratospheric standards of our fans, LOL! All kidding aside, some of my other favorite forums request a small donation each year. In return you get a special badge beside y...

Re: Justice Hall BRICK
I don't think anyone was leveling serious accusations regarding the provenance of the bricks in the above photo. Just from the glance of my untrained eye...they appear to be of a late 60's/early 70's construct, with drab mortar likened to that used on pretty much every campus building constructed du...

When does pledging a few bucks to help defray costs transform into expectations of receiving premium content, extra perks, etc. for their donations?
And are admins are ready/willing/able to deliver that type of thing? Just asking questions here.

Definitely one of a kind collectible. I never lived in Justice but if I had, I'd jump in on this action.

Re: ECU FOOTBALL PREDICTIONS
The Pirates did progress in a number of areas last season. But overall performance was uneven from week to week, so it's difficult to draw clear conclusions showing progression (or regression, for that matter). Bringing in Chris Foster to coach RB's was definitely a solid move. The Pirates can build...

Re: ECU FOOTBALL PREDICTIONS
ECU did finish the 2020 season in better fashion than they started. And they lost some very close games as well. But I do like the bulletin board material. Great addition to the pile Clark will have to put up closer to time. August is a long way off for both teams. Maybe we'll have a better idea of ...

Also wondering, does anyone know if Boone/Watauga County have developed a long-term growth plan and/or a master plan for urban development?

Re: Top 5 most dominant single-season App defensive performances
There are many superb App defenders over the years. But as a tandem, Murrell and Hunter were an absolute nightmare for offensive coordinators back then. You have to appreciate the way they wrecked offenses on a weekly basis. Watching them, it was like they were competing with one another on every pl...

Re: New golf team hats
Definitely a good way to raise money and increase YC membership. People ask you where you got that cap, shirt, jacket, whatever, you can tell them you're in YC and it's a perk for membership. I'm not a golfer. But I have golfer friends who are App alums who would kill for one of those hats. It's som...

Re: Armanti Jersey help?
We bought my son a #14 App jersey at least 10 yrs ago. I still have it and it's in good condition. Doesn't have AE's name on the back, but I'd still love to frame & hang it on the wall in my office.
Only thing that would make it look better is if AE's signature was on it. THAT would be perfection.

Crumpler looks beautiful, but the altitude is only 2500 ft above sea level. So it's a little too muggy & buggy for us.Cro-Magnon App wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 10:04 pmI like Crumpler. And the river runs through there in a wide swath. Boone is already too crowded. Put a cap on the number of students accepted.

Definitely not throwing shade at Shell dogs, man. They kept me going during exam week when the $$$ on the meal card was long gone.
