Yosef looks kinda lonely in that clip…but not for long! Can’t wait for the season to start!

Re: Off Season Topic - Best/Worst Road Game Experiences
Best was the Drinkwitz season win at UNC. Great seats and the Carolina fans in front of us saying how the ASU fans were the best visiting fans they had seen. I also liked the free cold water stations around the stadium. Next were the two Nattys I was able to attend in Chattanooga. Nice town/area wit...

Re: New EA Sports NCAAF Release Trailer Features App St
This trailer made me wonder…do we have a deal with Wyoming to come play in Boone in the future? Wasn’t sure if the original deal for last season was a one-time deal or a home and home. They came to Boone on 2015(I think). Last year was our return game. It got pushed back from the original date. Tha...

Re: EXPANDING STADIUM TO 40k CAPACITY
Shrinkflation has been happening for decades. I have soup cans I use in physics class. They used to be 12 fl ounces. Now they are 11.5 fl oz. And those cans are a few about 15 years old. The 12 fl oz cans were from the 1990s. And try finding a 1 pound Smoked Sausage at the grocery store. Most recip...

Sorry to hear this. I had heard that he might have been the best passer on the roster but not as mobile. Hope he ends up somewhere that his skills fit the plan better.

Re: 1-AA 2.0
I find it hard to believe that the SEC would be in favor of an arrangement that includes them and the BIG 12 only. They have no respect for ANY other conference and think the SEC Champion is the National Champion. They will be happy to have only SEC teams invited to the party.

Re: 2024 Spring Ball
All joking aside if after 8 games Joey has 3,200 yards (just going 400 a game) and let's say 24 TD's is he remotely in the discussion? Who is the last player from a really good G5 to even get in the discussion for the Heismann? Let's also assume we are 8-0 and Clemson is still pretty good. There is...

Watch out class of 2042.... Caleb Spurlin and his wife are having identical twins sons! Imagine having Meech's twins and Spurlin's twins on the defensive line together. Caleb Spurlin is also an assistant wrestling coach at Davie County High School in Mocksville. The War Eagles just won the NCHSAA 4...

Re: RIP Valorie Whiteside
Sad to hear. I had a class with Valerie back in the day. She was a great player on a great team in the mid 1980's. I also knew guard Jane Dalton and forward Beth Laney back then. They were a fun team to watch and had a great coach too in Linda Robinson. Lots of talent on the squad. Here's a great ar...

Re: NCAA Proposing New College Sub-division
With most of the more successful teams in the old I-AA moving into FBS this was just a matter of time. The big boys don’t want the little guys playing on their field…especially when they are beating the big boys more often. When the Delaware Blue Hens announced their plans to move up that was the fi...

Re: Fort Myers Tip Off
Was that the best half against a solid team we've ever had? It was a quality win, no doubt but App State has had a basketball program for over a century. I've been a dyed-in-the-wool fan for 60 years--plus. I wouldn't single this one out as the best ever. No way! You deserve a statue in front of th...

Re: Initial rendering of new Sofield Indoor Facility
The article from appstatesports.com mentions that Tommy Sofield operated a successful sandwich shop for 14 years in Boone. Does anyone know the name of the shop? Just wondering if I ate there at some point. I'm pretty sure it was Yogi's. I still miss that place. Thanks for the info. I wondered if i...
