Re: Defense dominates the day in App State's second spring practice scrimmage

Saturday is looking good. Scrimmage, talk to players and coaches, check out the construction progress, baseball and softball going on. Right now the weather looks good for the daytime with only possible evening showers. Come on up!

Re: Men's Basketball Coaching Search

Hoping DG has a big surprise up his sleeve. I know our history and our perceived limitations, but it’s a big world out there. Al McGuire was at freaking Belmont Abbey. Believing in our AD.

Re: New Sun Belt Commissioner

Yep. Sounded like a mess with all of the UR coaches and strongest program supporters going against him. Anyway, he takes over at a time when the SBC is much improved in football, with 4 ten win teams, bowl success, and having basically leapfrogged CUSA and the MAC. Hopefully he can build on Benson's...

A different article shows perceived problems with Gill’s leadership with Richmond football leading to his resignation.

Re: Fox fired

I don’t agree that this is a bad job, just a program on a bad run. Win, or at least be competitive and entertaining, and they will come. Maybe not 10k, but much more than now. Buzz Petersen won here twice not that long ago- it can be done. This fan base loves it Apps, and will watch what’s worth wat...

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread

So impressed with Coach Drink’s presence in the community. This Saturday I saw him downtown judging the St. Pats parade and a few hours later he was helping with the emceeing of the Daniel Boone Rail Jam. This guy seems to work tirelessly in all facets of coaching. I look forward to seeing his inter...

Coach Fox is a good man and I wish him well. Excited to see who DG can get. Other programs have risen from the ashes. Why not us? Why not now? Go App Basketball.

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney

Proud of this team. They aren't dominant world-beaters, but they give their all, scrap and hustle, and they are motivated, well-coached, and are fun to watch. This all has resulted in a top tier finish, and a strong tournament performance. Today they are playing with house money against the #1 seed,...

Re: MBB in SBC Tourney Round 1: Apps @ ULM 8 PM ESPN+

At the beginning of the season, I made an over/under thread and set the number of total wins at 16. 100% of respondents took the "over", with most predicting 18 or more wins. We won eleven games total, including non-D1 wins. We won 2 games on the road and none on a neutral court. We all expected bet...
