Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

Didn’t get attachment. I went to WSJ and the only article I saw just mentioned the order of the punches, not that the coach was defending the citizen. Anyhow... it’s all tragic and senseless.

Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

The accounts I’ve read haven’t mentioned anything about the coach defending anyone. It’s just as easy to conclude he was pissed his car got hit. And I also haven’t read he propped him up against a wall either, ( or that he read him a bedtime story and tucked him in) just that he got out of Dodge and...

Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

The medical Examiner has now ruled it a homicide, but it will be up to the D.A. as to whether the charges will be upgraded.

Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

I'm all for personal responsibility, and the victim's behavior put himself at great risk, but a few hours of community service for causing a death and fleeing the scene seems a little slack. Hopefully, the facts will all come out and fair, appropriate justice will follow, whatever the outcome.

No doubt, but if I were Danny Manning, I'd be placing a "Help Wanted" ad.

Re: THE OTHER FLOOD GATES ARE OPEN (UNCC Tailgating pass info thread)

I'll be anxious to see the actual turnout. Believe it or not, I wouldn't be surprised to see a significant number of empty seats because many of their fan base doesn't want us in, but can't stand to watch what will most likely happen.

Changes to Campus Entrance

Changes coming to the main campus entrance in the next month. Looks like the National Championships will be removed completely. https://www.wataugademocrat.com/news/asu-main-entrance-developing-into-founders-plaza/article_5ea08bb5-ff8f-5a35-848e-ced7fb12284b.html#utm_campaign=blox&utm_source=twitter...

Re: Jerry Moore given highest NC civilian honor

Can’t overstate what a wonderful coach and man Moore is. Just look at our incredible head coach who learned under him. The transition was more than awkward, but Coach Moore will always be a Mountaineer great. I’d love to see him in a seat of honor at every game.
