Re: Week 9 games

UNCC looked decent through 2.5 quarters tonight, but ran out of gas. The North Texas QB set a school and conference record for passing yards (608).

Albin is a good coach and could turn them around with enough time, but their 8 fans are already looking to make another change. Morons.

Have watched 5 minutes of Tulsa v ECU. It's horrible. Moving on to a Movie or something.
It’s gotten pretty entertaining in the 2nd quarter. Teams are trading TDs. ECU with a couple long passes.

Re: UNCC fires AD Mike Hill

Looks very suspicious that the university GC is taking over as interim AD. Wonder if some books were being cooked or something? Yeah, I noticed that he’s also the VC of institutional integrity. Seems like an interesting choice. Of course, with how well their revenue sports have performed over the l...

Re: Boone Golf Club

17 million. Well, there goes the idea of App buying it. I’d sell too if some bozo wanted to pay $17M for it. That math does not math. Sounds like a pure land play to me at that number. I'd assume that $17 mil. figure is based on how much the land could then be sold to developers. I doubt the course...

Re: Boone Golf Club

I love to play it though that’s only once or twice a year. I don’t like to see courses sold to developers but I understand the business. How much they want for Boone Golf Course? $6-$7 million? 17 million. Well, there goes the idea of App buying it. I’d sell too if some bozo wanted to pay $17M for ...

Re: Boone Golf Club

App needs to buy it. Let the business program run it. Maybe team up with NC State for business ag program and maintain it-summer interns etc…. Could be cool to get a turf management program at App and this could be their baby. It would be beneficial for App to control it for future development or s...

Re: Drama at UNC with Bill- shocker

James Franklin the next head coach at UNC after being fired by Adidas Penn State? Lol we'll never see Franklin again...he and Jimbo are fishing and golfing from here on out His buy out is supposedly payable like NC unemployment-he has to actively “try” to get a job. And if he does, his buy out is r...

Re: Mid-season halfway point grade?

At this point, I’m seeing improvements everywhere. Defense continues to get better every drive. Fewer penalties as the season goes on. Play calling getting better (less predictable, especially compared to previous seasons). Good rotation of players (not pulling a back when they were on a hot streak)...

I did think that when it was first posted though. I'm thinking that is a hell of a way to go out, by the daughter in law.
I read it 3 times, then went back and read the obituary to make sure 😂

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes

Where was his obituary please? It was on the first page at the bottom. https://www.edwardsfuneralhomes.com/obituary/Johnny-Gibson Thank you. Did ALS get him? No he did not, his daughter-in-law did. Just to clarify, it seems his daughter in law passed of ALS, she did not kill him.

I have them in my backyard for cornhole.
That is a lot of light just to look at your cornhole.
I’m guessing he writes them off as a business expense for his onlyfans

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes

I first knew of him as Beachbum on Delphi. I'll always remember the Peace Summit that Appgrad 78 arranged between him and Ggerg in Duncan lot before a game. It made Appomattox look like a tea party. Ggerg…there’s one who hasn’t posted in a long time, but was at one point prolific. Met him a few tim...

Re: Oreg St at 3:30pm - Discussion

UNCC is a glorified FCS school, why not compare a healthy Swann vs Southern Miss or Kohl vs Oregon St? Kohl starts next week and I hope he crushes it keeping the job. Swann had three picks and you can get your nuts in a twist over them if you want, but only the first one was solely on him and he wo...

Western QB set an NCAA record for consecutive completions with (checks notes) 46 !?! Holy crap!
Dayum! You know how difficult that is???
Didn’t Ritchie Williams have that record at some point (in 2004, maybe even set it against WCU)?

Watching UNCC makes me feel bad about our win. They are awful AWFUL. Like beyond awful. Like maybe top 50 FCS awful.

No wonder we scraped by Lindenwood.
UNCC wouldn’t make the playoffs in FCS. They’re beyond terrible.
