Re: ESPN+ Most Important Games for Top 25

How much does calling Wake a trap game piss Dave Clawson off? Love it.

Re: Cancellations moving into the Fall

The CDC said yesterday that something like 25 million people have likely had it and were mostly asymptotic. I know there are other things in play here, but I think we safely could have a season. I just think that some powers that be, maybe not in sports but state governments, that will try to keep ...

Re: App BoT approves renaming Hoey, Lovill dorms

See that’s not funny if if you are kidding. We should rename one Cline Dormitory App State already has some buildings named after Cline actually. Porta Johns don’t count. The visitor center at Dark Sky Observatory is named after a different "Cline" actually. The Cline at DSO is the same Cline that ...

Re: Cancellations moving into the Fall

I hate to say it, but it’s highly unlikely we see football in the fall. If anything, maybe we play a conference slate. B-ball likely the same (very few out of conference games). I know this is what some conferences are already discussing and planning for, and D-II is going to do it for basketball.

Re: App BoT approves renaming Hoey, Lovill dorms

I’m fine with this. Would be neat to start naming the campus buildings after locally native trees/animals or something like that. Hell we name the different holes at The Masters after different flowers. Holes at the masters are named for plants because the property was a nursery before it was a gol...

Re: NEZ work today

Man, from some of those pictures the YC posted on Twitter, I can still see Howard’s Knob. I was made to believe this building would completely obstruct my view. When are they going to add the other 4 floors and block it?

Re: NEZ Update Query

If I recall correctly, and changes to the existing concrete stands will require a near complete rebuild of that section, as code has changed and they are now not spaced correctly. To “add on” and make the stands lower/closer to the playing surface would be bigger than we think (if I’ve been told cor...

Re: Turf Replacement Pics

I love it! I'd like the yosef logo in the "AppState" end zone, but I like it nonetheless. I think that logo, as much as many of us old heads like it, is going to go back into the basement. Although it has never carried a negative association, I think many athletic departments are going to start pha...

Re: Turf Replacement Pics

Yeah, thanks for the pics. Think the endzone project looks cool from that side. Does anyone have a rendering of what the new turf will look like, or just a replacement of the old with same design? It’s all been a big mystery up to this point. I swear to god if they do black or yellow turf I’ll ask ...

Re: NEZ Update Query

I don’t understand why the Feild turf is being replaced. I mean it’s nice but $$$$$$. When 2 sports were just cut I dont see the justification. The only thing some friends and I could figure is that the drainage system has to be continued under the portion where the track is being replaced. I remem...

Re: NEZ Update Query

Thank you Mizzou. Now during this stadium upgrade maybe we can upgrade away that plastic wrap covering the brick Really? I like the bold look and message...and isn't it concrete walls they cover? (I can't remember exactly) It is concrete (with brick at the stairs). I think it’s fine. Just because e...

Interesting. Anything that beats Atlanta is worthy in my book.
Translate that to Latin and stitch it onto the Charlotte flag. It’s the whole city’s aim - be slightly better than Atlanta.

March 1st - May 27th - follow CDC guidelines they have the most accurate and complete data set. May 27th - CDC data shows the virus isn't as nearly as deadly, especially for those without preexisting conditions and under 45. May 28th - the CDC can't be trusted. I've seen goal posts moved before, bu...

Re: ECU among the growing number of institutions faced with eliminating one or more sports

I’ll concede the tech point. We did use the podium most every day in class and there is a lot of value in classroom tech. Those things are just expensive and they are constantly upgraded. When I look back on the stuff/ services I had access to in college it was awesome but man was it expensive. I j...
