Re: ULLLLLLLL game 12/4 Friday ESPN2

Is the game on ESPN2 or will it be somewhere else (tongue firmly planted in cheek here)

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

Really impressed with the defensive tackling after the lack of practice. Our secondary gave up catches but virtually nothing after the catch. We really did a good job on tackling last night! There didn't seem to be as many total whiffs as had been earlier in the season. We really seemed to go back ...

Re: Dale Jones Appreciation Thread

Completely agree on the entire defensive performance. This was a team that was averaging 37 pts a game and had announcers pumping up the 2 qb’s stats as dark horse Heisman candidate numbers last week. We owned them last night and held them to 3 tds under that. NEGATIVE rushing yards in the first hal...

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

It’s so funny reading through the last 3 pages of this thread after the game is complete. It’s almost like the coaches have an idea of what they’re doing 😂

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

We need to keep the pedal down hard for 4 quarters tonight, I don’t care if we’re up 40 or down 40. Just beat the hell out of em.

Like seeing Evans get the score, too. Guy has had a helluva month.

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

I think this performance so far answers a lot of the criticisms that had been voiced over the last 20+ days, right?

Re: NEZ work today

I wonder how late today they will work? They've got a full crew out this morning and look super busy. Glad to see there appears to be some urgency behind getting things in order, even though it won't likely be fully used this season.

Re: EARLY CBS Bowl Projection

At this point I'm not sure how many teams will be able to play enough games to get to 6 wins to be "bowl eligible" (though I'm sure that threshold is subject to be forgotten this season). Agree with Saint there may only be a few bowls this year, I mostly expect the smaller games to not be played. T...

Re: App #24 in AP Poll

Until the SEC plays one can argue a winless team should be not be ranked. But they’re also undefeated. ;) So is Boise State and that matter so is Western Carolina. Western is undefeated. As if my weekend couldn’t suck enough. I had not thought of that but Western is undefeated and we are not....

Remember when Satt was a bad choice? Yeah, me too.

Maybe some folks need to put down the computer, grab a beer, and chill out. Let the season play out and see what happens. With the way some on here rush to judgement, I’d hate to work for many of you. I’d be fired on day 2...

Re: The other games thread (CCU vs da Camels, Sat games too)

Says 5k for attendance. 342 is a lot of yards for Coastal to give up it seems. Attendance was capped at 25% capacity (per ESPN announcers). The Camels could move the ball, especially on the ground. They just couldn’t ever convert, nor could they stop CCU. We should have no trouble with either team.
