Re: Chase Brice

And 1 of those ints is hard to pin completely on him(the tipped ball at Miami). Not completely absolved, but sometimes the other guy just makes a really good play. The nation is gonna get multiple opportunities to see him play on the big networks this year (ECU, Miami, Marshall, ULL, CCU, GaSo). He...

Re: Video Board / Sound

Re: cell data/connection…anytime you put 30k people in a confined space that isn’t routine, the network will get overwhelmed. That’s why Verizon runs those commercials during NFL games touting their network additions to each NFL stadium. If they didn’t put those repeaters in, at least half of the st...

Re: Turf/scuffed rubber

While you can have too much infill on a synthetic field, it is a much bigger problem to not have enough. Heavy rains and other adverse weather can remove the infill from the playing surface, which increases the possibility of injury and decreases the life span of the turf. Does it look as perfect as...

Re: Marshall Game

Marshall dared us to throw last year, knowing that was their best option to stop our offense (based on available players). It worked. That same strategy will not likely work this year, based on our roster and the number of receivers who have seen touches so far this season. If they pull a Richmond a...

ISO South Alabama - Nov 13

Looking for 3 tickets for the Nov 13 game against South Alabama, as well as parking. This will be my first game on the mountain in 8 years, and will be my daughter’s first ever App game. Would love to get a chance to sit in the North End Zone, as my wife and I have been discussing getting season tic...

Re: APP -7 vs Marshall

Based on the amount of offense (or lack of defense) in the ECU/Marshall game, App could feasibly make the over all by themselves.

Re: Why

I guess I should clarify my comment re:Peoples and goal line situations. I personally think if the coaches are going to call a run straight up the guy, the bigger back may be more successful. I could be wrong, but it’s my opinion.

Re: Why

We had better success blitzing King last week than letting Cheek take his time today. Wonder how we try to handle Wells. Don’t know what we’ll dial up but no need to tip our hand this week. Hope that Huff, Harrington, and Frizell suit up Thursday. I hope they are back too. I didn't like the full ga...

Re: Why

ECU just beat Marshall. Each team had over 560 yards of offense. ECUs qb threw for nearly 400 yards. Marshall will likely score a few points, but I have no doubt that App will move the ball on them.

Re: Why

I’m diametrically opposed to this outlook. I think we best all 3. Our team just gave their all in a tough game at Miami. Probably tough to get back up for Elon who none of these players see them as an old rivalry as is older dudes might. Michigan St is pretty good they ran their big back with a lot...

Re: Why

Meh, I’m sure we put an effort into scouting Elon, but I imagine it was a small one. We were very vanilla on defense and it showed. Of course I would have liked to see 42 points scored in the first half and a little more defense, but App won and the victory was never hugely in doubt. Our defense has...

Re: Sunbelt Expansion... additions?

I heard he was in line for Mack Brown's job. That’s not happening ever. Pretty sure it's a joke. UNCheat going after a coach with a track record of dirtybaggery seems logical though. They want cheats who don’t get caught. It’s happened a couple times now to Chadwell, so he will probably end up at S...

Re: College Football games Sept 16- 18

I’m convinced that UNC was only ranked highly in preseason to give the ACC a story line beyond Clemson. It’s a one horse league otherwise. Once VT beat them, they became the story. When VT loses, UNC goes back into that role.

Has anyone else seen Dukes reveal for this week? It looks familiar, but I can’t quite put my finger on where I’ve seen it before…

Glad to see we’re continuing to bring the GOAT back into the program. Obviously this is a callback since we’re dedicating the plaza, as well.
