Re: Non football needs of conferences

Interesting the pool must be in yards. I guess this is to allow colleges with pools decades old to comply. Would it be possible to offer men's S&D without schollies but give a few to the women's S&D team. In college swimming do both men's and women's compete same time and date at the same location a...

Re: Non football needs of conferences

I just hate it when that happens. :D I am used to it, every other post is that way for me. In fact after I typed this out I Googled "How often does McLeansvilleAppFan Google a topic he is typing about on MMB." I got this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Every_Time It is worse than I thought. Now t...

I doubt I am better, and as I said I knew that was easier to type than follow through on, even more so being removed from Skokie by a few decades.

Re: Non football needs of conferences

If I recall correctly, we no longer have a pool on campus and if the Y is like the norm, it is already fully utilized. I think the one newer Rec Center over past the math building has a pool. Though I don't think it is Olympic size of 50 meters, it might not even be in meters but yards. I would hop...

Re: Bye bye track?

That looks great and all, but I'm not sure if it's real right now or just a presentation to get an FBS invite. Finally good to see nonetheless. To me it is a dream list. If we have the money it can be done, but there is no promise that will happen as there is no promise there will be any money or e...

Non football needs of conferences

How much does it matter if our sports offerings need to match a new conference offering. Sun Belt does not offer Wrestling, but we do and the SoCon needs us to keep the wrestling numbers up, so I would think we have a home for wrestling if we move to FBS. Then again the SB has swimming and diving, w...

Re: NY Gov Gun Laws...

McLeansville App, the site would not allow me to respond with your quote due to too many quotes being imbedded. bcoach gave just one example. Similar cases involved Nazi gear in public schools. I sometimes wonder if they would defend a person's right to shout the proverbial "fire" in a crowded thea...

Re: NY Gov Gun Laws...

I've done my part in support of some amendments. I had them posted but thought it should stay a private matter. I'd love to hear from your civic responsibilities on the amendments though. I got rid of some of the embedded stuff. That may mess up the formatting - hopefully not. Fair enough on the ke...

Re: NY Gov Gun Laws...

Someone that thinks a 30 round magazine or a stockpile of them, is going to stop a gov't in this day and age is either delusional or very uneducated on even the basic fire power of a tank or plane. At the same time said person is being played for a fool by being distracted over issues that can be s...

Re: NY Gov Gun Laws...

I just wonder if the people who are so willing to voluntarily give up the liberties they don't particularyl like are going to be so accommodating when the next one to be taken is one they hold dear? That is one reason I would not care to end all gun sales. We do have a 2nd amendment, and I do want ...
