Re: MBB General Expectations
I think that we should to strive to put ourselves into the conversation for the SBC bid on a consistent basis. The definition of consistency can vary from fan to fan. To me, if we are an upper division team most years, then I think that we put ourselves in the conversation for the bid.

Re: 2021 Expectations...
Here is the piece that I don’t get. We have had a rather rowdy, passionate student fan base for over a decade. Yet, that student fandom hasn’t materialized into new season ticket holders, Yosef Club members at a pace commiserate with at least a small percentage of that base.

Re: 2021 Expectations...
While I realize that all teams are in the same position as App with returning seniors and transfers, what I feel good about is the fact that the games we lost were not by much, and we have made a significant upgrade at the OC position. I hope this upgrade helps. Having a healthy, Sutton, Hennigan a...

Re: 2021 Expectations...
I think that the key to the offense returning to form, at least to the level most expected last year, will be a full offseason of meshing between coaches and players. I’m not concerned about CB under center. It’s a bit unfair to judge him on his time at Duke. The other piece that is paramount is Wat...

He'll have a Yosef T shirt on underneath though. This one is Black and Gold through and through. Whether you like his music or not he is one of us. You do know that he has referenced being a Tarheel fan, right? it's really OK to have a secondary 'like'. I don't understand liking those guys but real...

Re: Texas State and the Transfer Portal
I have wondered how this coming year would play out. Schools like App will have as many as 10 returning players who are given the extra year. While those extra spots don’t count against the 85 scholarships (I believe) they still have to be paid for. In states like North Carolina there was no fall f...

Re: Decision Announcements
I know we have debated stars and recruiting rankings to death but seeing that DBG is gone it’s got me thinking. Can anyone list out the top 10 guys we have had at App based on recruiting or even as transfers and also tell what they did while on the roster? I know we had a former 4 star guy transfer...

Re: Decision Announcements
I think that the issue with DBG is the lack of upside. Good kid, good teammate, but he had some mechanical flaws. Coaches look at kids and look for potential. Even when there are flaws in their game, the obvious determination is, can the flaws be corrected. Maybe Drink thought he could fix them, or ...
