Just don’t see how anyone is excited about this. Just don’t. Sorry.
Fill your glass man. It appears to be half empty.
Well, you’re half right. When it come to us playing uncc, my glass is all the way empty.
So out of genuine curiosity, what about it doesn’t excite you?

Re: New 4 game series with Charlotte

I'm torn; I hope they build a decent program by then so that the games won't be a snooze fest, but I also don't want them to build a decent program because of recruiting. Hopefully we'll have taken the next step in conferences by then so it'll be a non-issue. Equally important to their getting bett...

Re: Jay Person?

Doubt Collins' decision is related to playing time. He knew the situation coming in as a Freshman. Nothing changed there except he had worked his way to seeing reps as a RS Freshman.

Coaches can look at film and see if he's reading his progressions............Pretty smart with the stripe
If that is the reason for the stripe, as I suspect you are correct, that is both brilliant of the staff and astute of you to pick up on that. I bow to you Sir.

Are we sure Collins is officially transferring? He’s still listed on the roster while Person is not. Sometimes these guys will enter their name and reconsider.
As of now, he is still in the portal.

Re: Jay Person?

Take a look at all of the names on this transfer portal. https://247sports.com/college/appalachian-state/Season/2019-Football/TransferPortal/ Peyton Derrick- Was going to be 3rd string and struggled. He goes to Wofford to play at a level I thought he was probably better at anyway. I wish him well a...

Re: Derrick Transfer

Then free up space for preferred walk ons. We need size/depth and speed on o line Most, if not all coaches are going to take a QB per class. Not all of them are going to pan out due to talent and attrition. At this point, we have lost three scholarship QBs in recent years that would still be here. ...

Re: Thoughts on today's scrimmage?

Very hard to get an idea from a scrimmage, as always. On the surface, I didn’t see anything really different looking than what we have done in the past, although I did hear that ZT said it (I assume playbook stuff ) was much different this year. The defense doesn’t have the appearance of the “roof ...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

So where is the 40 time in these official results? Are these the numbers your friend gave you? If so, why can’t you post the 40 time? Look, I’m not questioning that your friend was given something. Just that what he was given is suspect. According to published reports, Exford ran a sub 4.5 forty. No...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

I’m going straight to the source. Hang tight, waiting for them to hit me back. The source? Unless you have evidence from a NFL scout who was there with a screenshot of the typed up document or photo of the sheet there is nothing a family member can have that is better or official. Ask Gil Brandt or...

Re: Pro Day 3/28

Won’t know the winner until the times are published. Not taking a third party source as a conclusion. Heath ran a 4.7 in high school so I am a bit skeptical. The school hasn’t published the times.

Re: Pro Day 3/28

Heath at a 4.7 40? That has to be a typo. Yeah, he was in the 4.40 range from what I heard when I was there. A few of the players were trying to time on their phones (which was funny), but he was definitely faster than 4.70. Nope. He ran 4.69 and 4.70 according to the website, who gets official pro...
