Re: Spring Practice
And more than not, those factors had nothing to do with the former OC. That is not what the players say. Heck, that's not what Petersen said. He knows he called bad games. He simply didn't know how to call our offense -- even with the healthy players. Again. We will agree to disagree. I don’t get m...

Re: Spring Practice
:P :x You do realize the INT number being lower is very important, right? This is like saying a point guard had pretty much the same numbers except the turnovers went up. Or a sprinter saying they had basically the same time but just a second slower. Zac completed 39 more passes which means he had ...

Re: Spring Practice
:P :x Zac’s 2021 stats were on par with his lone year with Ponce. Aside from the INT numbers of course. 2019 stats were skewed by the fact that he completed 39 more passes than he did in 2021. Same avg/p though. Completion percentages remained pretty consistent though. Only real difference was who ...

Re: Spring Practice
I've read a few quotes about Brice having had a 'bad' year at Duke. Well, his numbers were very similar to Zac Thomas', with the exception of a few more INTs - and I think that had more to do with the other Duke talent at receiver. Of course, there those who say Zac had a bad year, which I don't ag...

Shaka Smart going from VCU to Texas to Marquette is another example of the pressures to perform.

What made you think that he wouldn’t be? At least a week in anyway.mountaineerman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 9:16 pmToo many Chase Quotes to make me think he’s not the starter.

I’m not sure that “Hot Commodity” is totally accurate. He has interviewed, but the sense I get is that he hasn’t been a must have hire.

Re: Transfer Portal
Players leave, or choose to leave, for a number of reasons. Playing style, playing time, cultural fit, personal reasons, off the field/court issues. Not sure that you can place the blame on any one thing or person without hearing the whole side. It happens.

Re: Spring Practice
Love Ethan’s reporting. Pretty good stuff. The thing that was intriguing to me was what he didn’t say. Most notably about the QB competition.

Pretty sure Brice is #7.WVAPPeer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 11:25 amSo on the main appstatesports site it shows #1 making a catch - since there isn't a #1 on the current roster listing I am guessing it is one of the freshmen WRs - Also on the twitter feed it shows #7 passing the ball - anyone know if that is Brice or Tabscott?

Re: Article: App State Twitter Divide
Sorry that you find the tweets from Yosef Club employees/members an issue. You, of all people, have spent enough time around the school and program to know that it takes money to be successful. My issue with the Twitter group is that they come across in their fandom very naive in their position. The...

Re: Article: App State Twitter Divide
Complaining about a problem seldom fixes it. Action is a much better route. Squeaky wheel gets the grease... If that were true, we would have more than enough Yosef Club members donating to fully fund the scholarship program, along with covering the cost of a number of projects for the athletic pro...
