Why do you say that? I’m pretty sure that all of the interviews haven’t been completed yet.

Re: Decision Announcements
I’m not sure what parameters the NCAA put into place to stay. I would assume that there would have to be a clear path towards the a degree of some sort. But as far as Grad School. Yes, if they go that route, they have to apply and be accepted to a program.

Re: Decision Announcements
We can probably all agree that this season was just a complete cluster and I’m thankful that I got to see some App football. When the NCAA made the ruling that this year was a freebie there had to be thoughts that the entire season would either not happen or would come crashing down within a few we...

Re: Alabama businessman approach
I'm no defensive coordinator but I didn't see the wisdom in the 4-4 defense OSU ran part of last night. Their LB's were getting eaten alive by the Bama WR's; it was painfully evident on the one TD pass to Smith where the LB had no chance of running with him. Appeared they sold out to stop the run, ...

Re: Transfer Portal
Here is the 2021 Football Transfer Portal https://247sports.com/Season/2021-Football/TransferPortal/ Looks like Jackson State should have a pretty good team. A lot of guys from the SEC and P5 schools are going there. They might take the SWAC this year. I know we don't play them, but found it intere...

Re: Transfer Portal
One thing that seems to be understated is the success rate of a given recruiting class. A full class of 25 is generally a success if 12-13 are part of a two deep. Young guys develop at different rates. Some just don’t. The portal is a good place to find pieces that fill gaps caused by injuries, grad...

Re: Transfer Portal
I dislike this transfer portal. I hate it for a kid that "has given his all" for App and then be benched from a transfer. Noble take and I hate it too. However, the other option is to sit by and watch other teams possibly upgrade with players they normally wouldn't get while we take a stand. If tha...

Just about 20 post late....... Must've missed this post or I would've piggy backed instead of trying to steal your shine! Guess I started skipping posts when I saw former players getting mentioned. I also like the Buffalo OC you mentioned. I was unable to find his OC compensation doing a quic...

Re: new oc
After some enhanced due diligence on the lad, I am going to retract my previous statement and say that he doesn't check all the boxes. He only has a couple of years as a QB coach which I don't expect to be enough for CSC. Secondly, he runs a spread offense. We are a running team and I don't know th...

He fits the criteria? Based on a quick search, looks like Sowder makes $126k and TP was making $200k. Re: new oc
I'll throw a name out there that might be worth a look. I haven't really paid much attention to Kent St.'s offense so not sure if it would be a great fit for App's personnel but OC-Andrew Sowder shows promise. The Golden Flashes went from 127th of total offense in 2018 to 64th in 2019. That's quite...

Re: Decision Announcements
A crazy thought on Harrington: If he does miss the season (or enough of it to redshirt), that would be two seasons that he's missed due to injury. That should make him a pretty easy case to qualify for a medical redshirt/6th year should he want it. Then with this past year not counting, he technica...
