Re: Roof out

I thought someone said that he had declined. Maybe I’m mixing him up with someone else.

Edit: I might have been thinking of the strength coach at GS.

We made #4 on the sportscenter top 10 for that last second Forrest shot. Good publicity!

Re: MBB: Ga Sou @ App 4 PM HCC ESPN+

I take the decision making part back. Our leading scorer makes bad decisions at crucial times, very similar to shabazz last year.

Re: MBB: Ga Sou @ App 4 PM HCC ESPN+

This coaching staff seems super cohesive, and the attitude, effort, and decision making of the players is night and day since last year.

Delph is not dressed out today for some reason. He has been huge for us this year.

Re: Georgia State

As ugly as this was, if we would have had Ike we had a very good chance to beat arguably the best team in the belt.

Re: Georgia State

Ike is a consistent double double guy. I hope he’s not out for long. I don’t know if anyone on the roster can replace his stats and energy.

I’ll be there Saturday for the southern game with my 2 boys. I also went to the game at ETSU and was impressed with our development in a short amount of time, despite the loss.

Re: MBB: App State @ NC State 4 PM PNC Arena TV/ACC Network

Dustin can coach. Sum will always be greater than the parts with him in charge, and once he gets a few recruiting classes in here, we'll be winning the Sun Belt. Damn good coach. Yep, I was talking about him as a possibility at App a few months before the hire after I noticed the ncaa stat rankings...

Re: That “Head Coach feel”

Does anyone have any intel as to if any other legitimate candidates were actually considered and/or interviewed for the HC job? I never heard any other names floating around, but this happened super quick.

Re: 2020 Depth Chart

Harrington also strikes me as someone who can take it to the house just about anytime he gets in space. We haven’t come close to seeing his potential due to injuries slowing him down, but he seems to have an agility and athleticism edge on some of the other backs. He might not have quite the speed o...

Resilience...these guys look like they think they should win every game, even today after being down the entire game. This is refreshing to see.

Re: At Troy

Our stingy defense seems to have softened a bit today. Scott Cross was a good coach at UTA (and inexplicably fired). I expect that he will be good for Troy.

It’s awesome to see our veteran players blossom under the new coaching staff. Ike, Forrest, O’showen, and Delph seem more confident this year.

Re: at South Allie

Our tough defense continues. We’re up 7 with 3 1/2 mins left against the preseason favorite, senior laden Jags. We are showing lots of patience against the press, the opposite of the Fox teams. Sun belt teams are going to hate playing against us if we continue what I’m seeing tonight. We are disrupt...

our product on the field has always exceeded our recruiting rankings. We are lucky to have had coaches who get the most of their players.

Dale Jones come on down. Jones and Roof coaching linebackers could be interesting.
Wouldn’t Jones have to take a sizable pay cut to come back from an ACC school?

I think he was not the best fit for our culture, however, he did a lot of good things while he was here. Some would argue that anyone could have done the same, but I disagree. Some could have eff'd things up majorly. Some are things he did, some are things he didn't do (which was good) Here is my l...

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC

So, I'm thinking they did a straw man poll of the BOT and all were good with Clark and since he was already on staff none of the HR stuff had to happen which can slow things down. So they went ahead and leaked the news yesterday that he was going to be named HC before the formal BOT session tomorro...
