Re: APP STATE 12 Votes Top 25 coaches poll.
Instead of trying to rig the system to meet our needs, we need to get better. We win that game at Penn State and we are a ranked ball team right now, right in the NY6 discussion. I'd take an Orange Bowl game versus someone like Georgia or Wisconsin over a G5 championship game against San Diego State...

Re: 5 Reasons UW will beat ASU tomorrow
Also, for what it's worth, this is almost certainly a troll post. If I had to guess, some salty UNCC fan that tires of having their name mistaken for Chapel Hill. Trying to take a shot at us by using the "ASU" moniker. Just a hunch.

As an App alum living in Seattle, this is a fantasy that I'd like to become a reality. Please.

Re: Troy v Nebraska
I hope they win out and then we blast them to end the season. A Troy team on the brink of/being ranked helps us out, assuming we win. Strength of schedule!

Re: APP STATE 12 Votes Top 25 coaches poll.
I am in no way looking for "trouble", but I'm not sure I understand the poll talk. For me, the question shouldn't be about the others receiving votes, but rather who in the top 25 can we legitimately make the claim we're better than. This. We are two games in and lost one of them, albeit to a poten...

Re: FLORENCE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM
If I recall, Hugo was moving much faster than Florence is expected to. Which meant heavy winds got inland quicker, but it didn’t linger long for rain. Florence is the opposite, slow moving gives the winds time to die down before moving too far inland, but essentially means you got an open faucet ove...

Re: A&T 28 ECU 23
How about ECU turning it around and destroying UNC!!!!!!!!! Football is crazy! Bad for us though. I worry they will fire Fedora and throw the war chest at Satterfield. While Carolina is trash at the moment, they have exceptional facilities and could be great with the right staff. And if I recall, S...

Re: UNCC Game Thread
I was curious to see how we’d come out mentally after PSU. I was pleased. And Zac is the real f*****g deal. Charlotte moved the ball well, just couldn’t execute when it mattered.
We need to clean up our sloppy ball carrying and personal fouls before they really bite us in the ass.

Re: UNCC Game Thread
Not sure who #20 on our defense is, but he just did a first for me. Had a wide open blind side look at the qb and instead decided to give him a massage and fall over.

Re: ESPN Bowl Predictions After Week #1
Unless we made it to the NY6 game (which isn’t happening now), we are going to end up going to the same bowls every year. I don’t want to think about it yet, but yes, we will end up in orlando, New Orleans, or Alabama again.

Re: Field goal attempt
I liked the call. The kid clearly had the leg and I like that Satterfield trusted him enough to go for it. Says a lot about Satt’s confidence in our kicker and hopefully helps build his confidence even more for future kicks. No shame in going for the win.

This is good. From their board. “Serious question about App game: clt asks if they have any players that we would want as 49ers? Once they set foot on our campus with the beautiful surroundings, charm of ucity and great independently owned intl restaurants, light rail connection to uptown and south...

Re: UNCC Week
I see it as if we had won there may be a bigger let down than this close loss. Hope the team wants a victory badly and shows it. Worry on betting lines is we get up big early and we play 3rd string too early and they catch up towards the end. I’m really excited to get another look at ZT. The passes...

Re: UNCC Week
I get the impression there are a handfull of Internet fans on both sides that are far more invested in this game than the bulk of the fan base. I expect us to win soundly, based solely on the fact that Charlotte just isn’t very good. And we appear to be better than I expected. Though I expect Charlo...

Re: Official penn St thread
I’m actually really sad we lost this game, because we had three different moments where we should have won it outright: When we scored the TD a little too early (If Moore goes down in bounds after getting the 1st down, we can drain the clock and chip shot a FG). I can’t blame him for going in to the...

Re: Light Rail to UNCC
It’s fun to rag on UNCC, but the light rail is a HUGE win for that campus. App and Charlotte share little culturally. A student seeking an urban environment won’t settle in Boone and a student seeking a cozy college town won’t find their way to UNCC. What the rail does for Charlotte is amplify how u...

I’m real annoyed that CBS keeps showing the UMBC upset highlights, then showing clips of other great upsets - BUT NO APP STATE. Is the CBS producer a Michigan grad or something!?!?
