UCSD just accepted a bid to the CBI. Maybe we will know before selection Sunday on NIT/CBI

Might bode well for us, we are 50 spots ahead of UCSD in NET. If they are CBI bound hopefully that means we are going to the NIT.

I disagree with those that are saying this is a bad wasted season. I haven’t been this engaged on a day to day basis for basketball in 15 years. I’m sure I’m not the only one. App has the best regular season in memory, and they’ll be rewarded with MAYBE and NIT bid. Meanwhile, some 10 loss SEC or Big 10 school will make the NCAA.

It hurts but given our strength of schedule, we just couldn’t afford to drop games to Texas State or NIU.

Easily. We slept walk for 3/4 of the game and they still needed a buzzer beater to win. If JMU just shows up with any intensity they will hammer Arky.
