Re: Nick Saban crusading to save CFB.
An individual pro player has no cap on advertising/sponsor income. He/she can pitch an unlimited amount of products, etc On the above commentary in regards to in reference to "Hi my name is and I am with .." I believe this typically happens when the product/service also sponsors the team or league....

Re: Nick Saban crusading to save CFB.
I think college players should be paid, but there needs to be a cap. All pro teams have a cap; there needs to be something to limit college. Also Football is more out of control than other sports. We talk about baseball and basketball leaving earlier or foregoing college for minor league. Outside of...

Re: Possible transfer situations
Perhaps the furthering of college athletics as a business will continue down this path of the universities treatment of these once student athletes as assets or employees. Is this not the treatment you’ve begged for? These policy changes benefit fewer with more leverage than lift all student athlet...

Re: Here we go again...Looks like the OC is out
yes. I get Watts being caught off guard due to not getting the OC job, but curious what Ware was expecting in terms of promotion or is he just not satisfied with his current gig? Perhaps he knows more and I'm sure Moose does but I was under the impression that when Ware came he wanted to eventually...

Just getting back to this. I was perusing ponces twitter.
1. He has liked a couple app posts recently. Which honestly could be nothing given his relationship with current coaches and players.
2. We know he is still recruiting with cristobal. At least as of the 13th.

Re: Here we go again...Looks like the OC is out
And at the time he was hired, because of the previous two staffs leaving, we needed someone that could clean up the mess on the back end and stay consistent. That is what Clark has provided. Is he the ultimate answer? I don't know. But I do know we would be in a much worse situation if we didn't ha...

Not being sarcastic...what are some things that should make us feel good about next year? I dont know alot about our recruiting class coming in. I am a noted HUGE shawn clark hater since he was hired...and so far Ive been right...i feel like we are losing all of our players and we havnt recruited a...

someone tell me how to feel about this It’s an investment in the future of the program. It another qualified person to handle some of the responsibilities of a short staffed program. To Doug and Sheri’s credit, they listened to the issues and are responding with action. Whether it works, we shall s...

Re: Dale Jones out - Footballscoop
I’m not saying we’re Alabama, but they circulate coaches with Alabama ties. Hire within, go be a head coach / coordinator somewhere, fail and come back to Alabama. Their coaches that do leave develop younger coaches that are hired at bama. When you run a system that breeds successful coaching, that’...

Re: Just another recruiting discussion
Now that the season is finished, we have ample time to discuss [read: argue] about many important things such as: Which HC can truly be blamed for the 2019 recruiting class? Whether [Brice/Peoples/DJ/Clark/Yosef mascot/etc.] was an asset or liability at their respective positions? DJ music cuts vs....

Re: Players Transferring AWAY
How many of these kids going OUT have significant playing time? I know some may be missed, others may never see playing field and just want to finish with somebody on the field and it won't likely happen at APP. Just trying to gauge relative impact to our team.
