Regarding coach Sloan, his defense at Georgia Southern was putrid during his first season there. But it gradually improved each season, to the point that it was outstanding by the time he left. I hope he’ll be given the time to work the same magic here.

I haven't seen the press conference yet... I'm going at least 75% of the talking time was from David Ware again. He really makes it impossible to watch these press conferences... I know the administration at one point joked about holding two -- one so Ware can sit in front of the mic to give his up...

I might be on an island here but I like the NCAA’s targeting rule, especially the severity of it. Players are less likely to suffer severe head injuries, and that in my opinion outweighs any of the negative effects the rule has caused.

Interesting to see that our use of “yellow” pre-dates the “old gold” that a segment of our fan base are so fond of.
