Re: Depth chart surprises
If he uses the red shirt this year his life goals would still be achievable if he chose to leave football after next year. The redshirt will not hold him back, it will just give him options.

Re: PAC-12 melt down
I don't remember if ECU was a friend or a foe when we were trying to make it to FBS football. If they were (Friend), I hope we help them land in the SBC if they need it. If they were not (foe), I hope we let them fall behind. If they stay in a watered down AAC we will pass them.

Re: PAC-12 melt down
https://twitter.com/MHver3/status/1691411491210039298?s=20 wonder if ECU is one of them? If so, their fanbase won't be happy flying to the left coast for meaningless games. If not, Sun Belt is their best option. Highly doubt Easy U in the four. If I had to guess...smu, south Florida, Memphis and Tu...

Re: PAC-12 melt down
Back to pack 12 meltdown. We are truly ruining college athletics. Powers that be are catering to the Walmart fans instead of the students/alumni. Students and Alumni want to play close by teams for two reasons. Water cooler talk Monday morning and to be able to drive to away games. I really hope our...

Picture of Holmes Deck construction (as of 11 July 2023): https://www.appstate.edu/_images/vision/holmes-drone-1-71123-1800x1200.jpg Anyone know how many parking spots will be in this deck? Also, will a (Basketball) season ticket get you a parking spot in this deck during basketball season or is it...

Re: PAC-12 melt down
This is my good news situation/outcome. The BIG and SEC resume the Rose bowl championship. And everyone else is locked out. The leftover teams /conferences make their own rules and it is worthy of interest and we get a 16 team playoff with divisional Champs making the playoffs.

Re: PAC-12 melt down
SEC and BIG should lay out how the playoffs are going to look and everyone else can sign on or be fcs. They shouldn't even put it to a vote. If I were them it would be 16 at large with all schools playing at their controlled bowls in the first round. Each team making the first round of bowls would s...

Re: PAC-12 melt down
I wish we would go to a 9 team SBC Schedule now. I would like the 9 game schedule to always be your 9 closest sbc teams. It may be tough to decide who should be in the championship but it could be done. Maybe only your East games count towards the East Championship representation. I would like to bu...

Re: PAC-12 melt down
I hope this is how it ends for playoffs. 1st round byes for top 8 and the G4 play a playoff for 1 spot in the CFP. It is going to get old being the g5 rep and getting Alabama/Georgia every year. The AAC and the Sunbelt or the MWC need to make a scheduling agreement to start a week early and have a c...

The new AAC teams (ie Charlotte) are not getting the same payout as the legacy AAC teams (ie ECU).
Their number is much smaller.

Re: EXPANDING STADIUM TO 40k CAPACITY
The question is what does App give up in potential ticket revenue for non-premium games if there is a permanent expansion to 40,000? If you only fill that up two times a year, you're likely driving down prices by increasing supply not only for that game, but for future games. You may also drive dow...

Re: Stadium experience Director
I would pay up for a seatback and Arms that clearly define where my seat is. But, I would like to stay with the common folks. I like being with the rowdy loud crowd vs the box seats with business and handshaking being done. I go to a sporting event for the sport...not the social scene. Although, our...

Re: Away Game Tickets
Does anyone know what time the ECU tickets sold out? As much as I hated 130/4 tickets I am proud of App for taking the money instead of allowing scalpers to get the extra money. I would never have believed I would pay 130 bucks for a college football game.

Re: Stadium experience Director
Is there a height limit on Buildings in Boone. Why are we not building parking decks higher? Is it an engineering problem that limits height or a zoning problem that limits height? All of our parking decks are the same height but could go higher and not mess with the already existing skyline. The bu...

Re: Stadium experience Director
How about the top of the concessions becomes a floor and another level is built with ramps to bathrooms and concessions on the top level. Should be pretty easy to do and relatively cheap. I would buy more if it was easier to get.
