Re: NFL Cuts
OK...this is the best I've got from a quick look through all the posts: Mark Legree, and Troy Sanders: cut (LeGree after 10 days with the Bills and Sanders in the first set of cuts by the Falcons) Jeremy Kimbrough (Redskins) cut and then placed on IR. Jabari Fletcher (Cowboys), Steven Miller (Lions)...

Re: NFL Cuts
De'Andre has been cut by Miami but he played well enough to be put back on the PS or maybe be picked up by another team. I'll type up a list with the PS players tomorrow when the PS's are filled. Looks as though Cadet made it on the Saints roster. If that holds they will be carrying 5 RB's so I woul...

Re: NFL Cuts
Sorry Everybody. Lost everything because of a storm. I just got my stuff back up. It's going to take a while to catch back up. Quick Hits: Miller and Fletcher both have been cut although I fully expect Miller to be put on the practice squad, if he makes it that far (other teams are watching him). St...

Re: NFL Cuts
Corey Lynch has been cut by the Titans. Thought he had a chance to make it but there are a lot of DB's being cut. He did play pretty well so we'll see if he gets picked up anywhere. 4 hours left so teams are going to have to get the lists finished soon. McCray confirmed via Twitter that he had made ...

Re: NFL Cuts
BTW...if anyone hears an explosion just east of Boone today it's either my computer or my head. I've currently got three browsers and about 25 tabs open trying to keep up. If it's not posts about our game day, it's posts about NDSU's game last night plus all the NFL posts going full bore. It's going...

Re: NFL Cuts
Interesting news from the Panthers. Jimmy Clausen is one of the first cuts. Not a big surprise as Gettleman has a history of only keeping 2 QB's on the roster but it does open up one usually filled roster spot. While I have no question that AE is safe today this just makes him even safer.

Re: Griz Gameday Thread
It is a shame we have the Charlotte market as our main area. We get more coverage from the Triad, Asheville, and even the Tri-Cities than we do from the paper and TV stations in Charlotte. And the coverage, which has been getting less and less over the past few years, is now dropping to new lows. Wh...

Re: AE safe in the Queen City?
J.Adams has either been placed on injured reserve or released outright! It's listed both ways. K.Pilares has been placed in IR. Under an earlier contract, the NFL was not permitted to waive an injured player. The team was responsible for all med care. What's this new mess? Both were cut and both cl...

Re: NDSU-KState on Fox Sports 1
Twitter is blowing up, of course. Many are saying it's App State/Michigan level. It's an upset of course but now where near that level. Nobody will remember this one in 2 years except NDSU and K State fans Yeah, that's why I've just been reading past the posts. All of K-State's players didn't retur...

Yeah, I had to look them up also. Guess Colorado Springs is considered a "big market" if they're in C-USA for a sport.RankinApp wrote:I had to look Colorado College up. Division III school, although their women's soccer program does compete in Conference USA. Still..

Re: NDSU-KState on Fox Sports 1
Samford defeats Ga State 31-21. More of a representation of the reality of market-driven conference realignment than the collective strength of the Sun Belt Conference. Agreed. Ga State is going to have another long year. Then C-USA might come calling for them. After all being in a big market means...

(Best Elvis Voice) Thank You...Thank You Very Much...(realizes Elvis impression is terrible)
I know it's crazy but I kind of enjoy looking at all this stuff. It keeps me from just sitting here looking at the white walls and waiting for the little slot in my door to open with my meds.

Thought so Daphne. :D Gotcha, firemoose..thanks for clearing that up. Makes sense. Hope DP and the rest of the boys can stick. I guess I need to concentrate more on the computer than the TV. I used to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time but I'm guessing I might fall down if I tried...

Re: NFL Cuts
I thought this was DP's second year. Wasn't he on the Dolphin practice squad for a time last year? Whoops. Sorry Rankin. I forgot to add the second part of that statement. I was watching the NDSU/K-State game. Eligibility for players in their first or second year in the NFL: Players who do not have...

Re: NDSU-KState on Fox Sports 1
That is asinine. K-State is not the winningest program in BCS history, they're not a top 5 ranked BCS team and they don't have a single player of the caliber of Manningham, Hart or Henne. Yeah, I know. I don't think it's the opinion of their fan base as a whole by any stretch but I've see a bunch o...
