Re: Post-Marshall Comments/Thoughts
This “scandal” says more about confirmation bias and the way we share information in the 21st century without vetting it than it does our students. Even in this thread I can tell many of you haven’t seen the video. Here’s the video and I hope everyone actually watches it. https://twitter.com/emilnem...

Re: Mask at BOA Stadium
Went to the Panthers game last night. We sit in an upper section. Didn’t see many masks in the corridors. We had N95s with us in case we got bunched up in security but it wasn’t packed at all.
Unsure about enforcement in the actual indoor/suite sections.

I only meant the SWOL cheer attempt was cringe. I enjoyed the rest, love the concept, and enjoyed seeing the crowd.

Seriously though who was in charge of that pep rally, cheer teaching event at KBS and have they ever been to an App game?
SOO cringe, as the kids would say.

Re: App -12 vs ECU
The left tackle position performance is going to determine how our fans feel about Chase Brice. I’ve been shitting on the O-line since early last season and I feel bad about it but I’m still nervous about depth and coaching at that position. It boggles my mind that the number one source of my optimi...

Re: ECU website preview of Appalachian
The question marks surrounding our offense are valid and I see no reason they shouldn't have hope, but the purported talent disparity between an AAC school like ECU and a SBC East team is a bona fide myth. The last three years of out of conference play from the SBC/AAC has shattered this illusion. ...

Re: Starting tomorrow, NCAA athletes can make money from endorsements
I think the actual setup we have is pretty robust(hired a firm in January), but as usual the communications staff fell asleep at their desks and have only posted a couple of things in the last 24 hours.

Re: Starting tomorrow, NCAA athletes can make money from endorsements
Just from my own Twitter feed I’ve noted that both ULL and UNCC are marketing a very organized and helpful support system for their athletes regarding NIL. DG and Clark needs to get on this yesterday. It’s the right thing to do to assist our student athletes and it’s obviously a major recruiting too...

Re: 2021 depth
Brice was good enough for the coaches, and that’s good enough for me. Just curious. How would you guys have felt about getting a kid with great stats from a lower division school? What do you think our assesssement of Brice would have been if he had transferred to one of our SBC peers? I just think...

That dude needs to monetize. He slaps every FBS school into an excel spreadsheet, randomizes it, titles it “Best CFB X,” and stirs up Twitter like a hornets nest on a daily bases.

Re: Supreme Court Paves Way For Collegiate Athletes To Be Paid
Recruiting has always been an arms race, and one in which we've competed well compared to our REAL peers. P5 schools only have ~24 starting spots. The talent scarcity will be the same as will the the hierarchy of desired landing zones for recruits. I'm not trying to dismiss the potential negative im...

Re: Why we all should give to Yosef
“I donate in spirit-ism” is too common in our fan base. I’m not even going to pile on Cline for snitching on himself, but he’s not alone. People really think that buying single game tickets and watching App play on TV is “supporting” the Apps. It’s not. Well, it barely is. And going to games, bragg...

Re: ECU Ticket Sales on Monday
The entire stadium is the App side. Just bought 12 tickets for my group. Go APP. I hope you're right, but it won't help that so many people are having a hard time figuring out how to get tickets and that I don't think I've seen any promotions at all from Yosef, the ticket office, or the athletic de...
