Re: Fire Ted Roof
It is dumb to change now or during the year and would cause major confusion and basically start from scratch. Give him a few more weeks before we say for sure he has to go. If by week 7 things aren't better, than we know he has to go. Bryan Brown was the coach I felt we would miss the most. Always ...

Re: Corey Sutton
Honest question: Can someone explain how "university policy" factors in here? Sutton is a student in good standing, correct? I saw pictures of him volunteering at a local elementary school just today. I have been under the impression all along that the head football coach is the one determining wha...

Re: "Poor Performances" in the past 3 years
Good perspective in this thread. Anyone that has followed App for any amount of time should be well used to unexpectedly bad wins or even loses because they happen all the time. The good part is that it is usually a bad win, just like last weekend. People act like we have never had first year start...

Re: UNC @ Wake (9/13)
I’m an abc fan but they got screwed. This is not been to disagree with you, but one could argue that his forward progress was stopped while he was in bounds. They weren’t screwed, that ref clearly felt forward progress was stopped in field and thus swung his arm to continue the clock. I hate it for...

Re: Corey Sutton
We have to have him back for the UNC game. I feel like he served his time. Obviously, it’s coaches call, but I personally will be very disappointed if he can’t go. It isn’t the coach’s call. He is subject to University policy and code of conduct. Hopefully the university realizes the magnitude of t...

Re: Which App Player
Which team got a goal post through the windshield of their bus? Justin Seaverns lost the tip of his pinky inside his glove against Furple...and kept playing. Yes! Seaverns! I've been thinking about that all day. I knew it was Justin, could not remember his last name. Loved watching him play. Seaver...

Re: Hoping For UNC Tickets
Its disappointing. Had I not been told on the phone by the ticket office last Wednesday that they were being mailed out "tomorrow", I would be more understanding.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 12:19 pmAt this point, everyone who ordered tickets through our ticket office is "hoping for UNC tickets", too.

Re: SI writer refers to Appalachian State as “Tune up game” for UNC
Maybe the writer sees every game as a tune-up game for the next. To me, that is really the only explanation. Otherwise he just doesn't really understand CFB and has no business writing for SI.

The subject line, though unintentionally, created a pretty interesting little thread. Its a welcome break from the doom and gloom of the past few days!!

Re: Zac and quick throws
I think its a little extreme to think our offense is run heavy because Zac can't make throws. His first couple quick throws in both games were in the dirt. Those are really the only throws I saw as really bad. He completed other similar throws later in both games. The real reason, I think, we have b...

Re: Pregame positive takeaways
You guys remember when the band played buglers dream every kickoff and the band had to hold the last note until the ball was finally kicked? Sometimes having to hold the final note like 15 seconds? Miss that - good times I would think the crazy media timeouts would make the timing more difficult st...
