Re: Keep Joey 2024 - NIL
https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39252946/jim-harbaugh-advocates-paying-players-deflects-talk-future Harbaugh's revenue sharing is one of those hypotheticals that sounds "okay" when it rolls of the tongue. However, it is fraught problems. No matter how you slice it you are transitio...

Re: Troy - BB 1/6 4:30PM
Bummer. Hit a miracle 3 to get down by 2 then give up a wide open layup to seal it. Pain. I remember someone said this is the best team we have had in a long time and the talent is there but we have to be more consistent and shoot better both from the 3-point line and free throws. If we can do that...

Re: Auburn MBB game 1 p.m., ESPN2 on Dec. 3
Watching the 25th-ranked, 11-2 Auburn Tigers and am wondering where our win over them this year stacks up with our best wins in history. I can't say that I know of many wins over big teams. I was watching the beginning of the game and can't help but see that ranking. Thought the same thing. Long wa...

Re: Bowl Season
We get a chance to back up our talk when Liberty comes to town. Liberty returns a good bit so they should be a good team in 2024. We should know where we stand after our first 3 games. Liberty and Clemson will give us a great gauge to find out where we should stand. Liberty QB just entered the port...

Re: #TeamClark
A lot of Michigan fans wanted to fire Harbaugh because he could only win 8 or 9 games. Good thing they didn't. Very true! When you have their resources I can see why they have such high standards but you have to be patient because we know Jim is a really good coach because he has shown it before so...

Re: Bowl Season
SMU was likely a better team. Tulane ? Boise ? Troy? I don’t see it. Right!? They all lost their bowl games to middling p5s . This year was not a G5 year, it’s not always like that, but this year it is. Exactly. The top of the G5 wasn't as high as it has been. Obviously the exit of the top AAC team...

Re: #TeamClark
The upcoming season might just be the litmus. It is definitely the litmus test. Shawn is doing some really good things but the expectation is higher with Joey and the stars coming back plus it looks like we will return both coordinators. Everts still wants him gone so there is some pressure but we ...

Re: Bowl Season
Could have been JMU…. JMU wasn’t the world beater ESPN tried to make them. Agreed. I think JMU was good but definitely not a top 20 team. I would say at full strength they are top 40 though. I will say that I think they beat Air Force if they did not have the coaching change. I don't think many of ...

Re: ULM
Year ends and we're 10-3. I'll say it again, it has been a long time since we've had a basketball team this good. I do think this team is the best we have had in a while but 2 of those 10 wins are against D2 or below schools. We got some big wins for sure though. Just need to finish strong in leagu...

Re: winning/losing in the trenches, Matt Greenhalgh's S&C program made a massive difference this season. Example: We've witnessed two consistent OL-related themes in the recent past: a lack of durability and late-game endurance. This wasn't the case in 2023 as the App OL stayed healthy and appeared...

Hindsight is 20/20...a lot of factors led to this point. 1. Swofford added the wrong teams...Pitt, BC, Syr...he went for markets back when that was the prevailing wisdom that regardless of the actual product you want the biggest market. That hasn't translated. Also, there was real danger of ACC tea...

Definitely won't survive as is. The question is who will leave beyond FSU and what year does all this happen.
