Ga Southern announces first OOC home FBS game

From the Sun Belt Board:

"It is Western Michigan. We get them in Statesboro in 2015 and go there in 2016.

That is good news for 2015 as with 4 SB games and 1 likely FCS game that should give us 6 home games in 2015."

Re: weather for WCU

That game is almost 3 weeks away. I wouldn't put much reliability in a "forecast" that far out.

Any particular reason AE got ousted from returns?

Not sure. He looked a little tentative and slow. Didn't see that quick burst.

It looked like he might have some room for a good return but the guy clipped his foot as he was getting ready to take off.

Re: Latest from Ohio State Marching Band

After we beat Michigan my wife and I drove back to Columbus to spend the night (my cousin lives there) - we had all our APP gear on and flags flying --- It was amazing - My wife says I could have been elected mayor of Columbus that night  We received a similar reception the next day at the...

Re: Officiating Vs. GSU

The only other call that was bad as the call on Cox was the improper fair catch signal call. With all those ref's on the field I cant believe they couldn't have discussed that bs call and got it right.

Maybe It is just for piped in music. Otherwise, maybe it is just a judgement call by the ref.

Re: Band gets Reprimand

I think the rule is the band has to stop playing when the offense breaks the huddle. Since a team like App never huddles the band should never play while we have the ball.

I was there. I think the high temp was 18º that day. As cold as I can ever remember being at a game. I was a student then. We got there early to chip ice off the bleachers. I was sitting next to the guy who got up and went after the GSU students who spelled out ASU Sux in the snow. I remember Erk w...

You've got it backwards big man. You're glad you're moving up with us goat humpers.

No doubt that Ga. Southern played "follow the leader" in their process to go FBS. I am glad it all worked out.

Is anyone else already having nightmares about Georgia and Michigan? Not really --- there's no spooky boogie man out there - we all know what is coming  For my 2 cents - I WOULD NEVER HAVE SCHEDULED MICHIGAN AGAIN (at least anytime soon) I would have liked to go out 1-0 in the Big H...

It was 100 times more electric than last Saturday's game at Furman. They have some big time attendance problems.
