Stanford in the ACC? The conferences don't give a damn about the players, the schools or the fans and the schools don't care about the players or the fans. One day the chickens will come home to roost.

I will be surprised if we finish second in the east based on what I saw last year and the downward trend in general, but maybe this team will bring back the mojo that we lost.

We swere still doing "give em hell" not that long ago. Don't know what happened.

It's just dreadful. Seems like it was sort of a thing when I was a freshman in 1980, but we quashed it and it was dead and gone until recently. It would be interesting to know how they dug this up from the dead.

Not the case. Curcio wanted to be a lifer. The explanation alumni have been told is the current director of track and field wants his own people, so Curcio was pushed out. That makes no sense whatsoever considering his spectacular success and ties to the school. What does "wants his own people" eve...

I wouldn't put ECU or UNC on the list. I don't hate ECU. I do hate UNC, but it's not a rivalry hate.

Agreed. This is a first ballot lock.

I readily admit that my favorite spot for years was Woodlands. Went there a good bit back in the 80's before it burned down. Had a long gap of years until I got back there to the rebuild. Not quite the same but still good. Kind of hated seeing an Outback right next door. Times change and at the end...
