Looks like a couple of SoCon coaches are in the hunt, one of whom previously coached down the road in Hickory.
Here is the link to the fall sports streaming schedule.

Re: CUSA television contract
We made several summer vacation trips to the area when I was a kid. Just liked the area and wanted to be a teacher.

Re: CUSA television contract
I do see NC as being more humble than VA today (although the gap has shrunk since the time the phrase was first uttered), but not SC (outside of Charleston of course). It's all relative. I guess I fail to see how you measure that in modern terms. I've visited northern VA. That is a different ...

Re: CUSA television contract
If Rocky Mount is your home, you've probably never experienced the conceit of flatland Virginians. I lived in Roanoke, one of my favorite places in the country, and we loved it there. Nice, friendly people, who didn't care where you were from or what family you came from. Not so in Richmond/Petersb...

Re: MBB v. UALR
I would like to see someone like Tony Searcy, he could rebound and score. That would work. Tony was a fraction over 6-7, but had long arms, tremendously big hands, a soft touch and a legit, one-step 37" vertical. Not "MJ" but a fine, fine college player. He was unstoppable inside and he had Cremins...

Re: NC State Looking at Ledford?
All I got to say is paying a position coach $275,000 is bordering on the absurd. And this is at NC State! WTF is wrong with us? Nothing against Ledford at all. That's not out of line with NC State's peers. Look at the salaries of the new Va Tech staff. Check what many were making at Memphis, techni...

You need to look at his complete resume, not just at Kent State.

Re: CUSA television contract
Blue blood Virginians are actually worse than Yankees. Always have their nose in the air, look with disdain at states south of them, believe NC is peopled by barefoot cousin marrying banjo players, and think their god awful b-b-que is the best. They think VTech is one step above a community college...

Re: MBB v. UALR
It would be pretty easy to sit back and throw off on Jim Fox's frosh and soph classes due to all of the turnovers and 0-fors they've turned in so far this season; until one looks at Eaves' 1 for 8 outing last night (and a few more of his 2015-16 starts that were also train wrecks). When your star p...

A large segment of their student body is from NOVA. Of course, the same could be said for UVa and Tech.

Re: NC State Looking at Ledford?
I just hope we don't take him back in any capacity when Dave Doeren gets fired this offseason. It's a short-sighted move and I hope he says the price for it. I'm sure you'll find a job and stay there forever and will never consider a job that provides you and your family with a significant pay rais...

Re: Who Replaces Ledford?
I wasn't familiar with Clark, but he could make sense. However, an issue there could be that we'd probably have to offer him the same AHC title he holds with Kent State, which might not be well-received by Woody or Ponce. One other point to consider is that we currently only have one African-Americ...

Re: WBB: Madi Story leads Apps to 90-71 win over Tx St
The big difference was that Texas State's tallest player was 6'1" and UTA had three players 6'3" or taller. But still, it was a way better game than Thursday by far. TxSt couldn't stop the dribble-drive. Next week will be tough with Little Rock and stAte, moreso the latter who is dominating the Sun...
