Re: Mike Houston
Is Scott actually gone yet? Or is all of what is said here a bit premature? He could easily land a better situation than where Louisville finds themselves and will likely have a close to Preseason Top 25 team in Boone next season.

Re: Early: possible replacements?
Nah, I'd rather have Brown over Woody. I feel like it may be a higher risk but a much higher reward. Apparently Brown is already on the radar for some big schools as a potential DC. He's becoming a prominent name quick. Basically, give it to Brown. Would Sloan be interested in coming back? What typ...

Re: Victor Johnson
If he starts, I'm sure ULaLa will attack the defense from his side and test him. What defense? App played conservatively against Louisiana in October and the result was a relatively close game. Watching the game, I still feel like App dominated in all facets, but Louisiana got a garbage time score ...

Re: Stephon Brown dismissed
Based on Satt's comments I think it was more than just no longer BMOC that was the problem. Agreed. It's a shame, but if they aren't in the "AppState mindset" and willing to wait their turn and put the work in, ON TOP OF other issues like academics and discipline. It's time to leave. I believe ther...

Re: Attendance Predictions for SBC Championship Game
Think it'll be between 25-30k. ESPN and Noon kickoff probably keep a few at home. Sadly including me. Agree with you here. I am going with my family, but a big part is I'm blessed to have a wife who is just as rabid an App fan as me. Dishing out an additional $100+ on top of my season tickets/Yosef...

Re: Coaching change at UNCCheat
With Satt's kids being at Watauga and firmly entrenched in life in Boone, do you all expect he would uproot his family at a pivotal time in his kids lives to move? This is a rhetorical question, right? Satt has done a great job at App, and no doubt it holds a special place in his heart. However, he...

Re: Endzone For Saturday
Everything has to be neutral. If we have an end zone, they have one. If we have fireworks after TD, they have fireworks after TD*. App branding must be covered. Midfield logo must be removed. I thought that the purpose of having the home field advantage for the Conference Championship was to add an...

Re: We rise....
Unfortunately, College Football, especially in the G5, leaves little to no room for error to accomplish something out of the ordinary. The fact that is takes lottery type odds to have a UCF type season for our level versus a 2-loss team being considered for a 4 team playoff is a joke. To quote Tom ...

Re: BOWL ELIGIBLE!!!
Everyone who is Bowl Eligible goes to a Bowl now. I suppose, in a way, it's fun because all football is worth watching, in my opinion. However there is a participation trophy feel to the current state of the Bowls. At least rotate the Bowl contracts perhaps every year so that conferences may rotate ...

Re: Two votes in the coach’s poll
That ship sailed. #RankAppState was he biggest distraction of the year. Fehr, Moore, and Thomas losses hurt against Georgia Southern. It was obvious against Coastal that losing Fehr may have been the biggest loss of the Southern game considering his performance against both the run and the pass in ...

Re: Did anyone else notice...
It'll be interesting to see what happens in the 2019 match-up, hopefully the pay back will be hell! The last game Georgia Southern won in the series was nearly the same score. What happened the following three match-ups? Thomas was injured, Fehr made a bone headed play and was rightfully ejected pe...

Re: App getting love on CFP 25
You all seem to forget making money was the whole point of bowl games in the first place. It was all about selling hotel rooms in desirable locations in the off season. It would be desirable to drop the Arizona Bowl for a G5 Bowl game in Charlotte or Charleston. Savannah would also be a good locati...

Re: App getting love on CFP 25
That is not entirely true. The committee has already proven to be a sham. Remember when Western Michigan rowed the boat to a perfect season with two P5 wins? Navy was a one loss team and the committee was setting them up to overtake WMU in the final poll until Navy crapped the bed and lost the week...

Re: ESPNU coverage of game Thursday night at Gnatsboro
Check out SlingTV. I've used it for years now and it usually fits my needs. I traditionally have just gotten the "Orange" package because it ESPN ESPN2 Disney for my daughter. I upgraded to "Orange and Blue" which has NFL and fox sports networks. I just added the "sports" add on for 10$ to get ESPN...

Re: ESPNU coverage of game Thursday night at Gnatsboro
Our game is more interesting than any Dallas Cowboy game the networks try to shove down my throat every week. Cowboys v Redskins? When you actually have two relevant teams playing with Baltimore v New Orleans? Seriously? The NFL is driving itself to ruin by putting the NFC East in every primetime, ...
