Re: Flyover Video
Having grown up in Fayetteville in a house that was on a direct landing pattern on Simmons Army Airfield, we would get a flyover every day from all kinds of aircraft. With that said, the flyovers at Kiddbrewer are so special. It reminds me of how lucky we all are living in a country that allows us ...

In reference to the TSN projection; How is Northern Arizona seeded 4th when they are 11th in the polls?

As did Scott. He stayed home on a reverse which turned a big gain into a loss.YesAppCan wrote:I think Burns played lights out. He absolutely stuffed the middle in 2nd half.

Re: SoCon Tie-Breaker Rules
However, if one team is eliminated in the process, it is now a two team tie. Is the tie then broken based on head-to-head play? Well, that's not what it says. It does state that the process continues until the tie is broken. A coin flip is not mentioned as a tiebreaker until all other options are e...

Re: Thank you App players and coaches
This win is squarely on the defensive coaches and it wasn't won today. This game was won with the leanings taught and received by the defensive coaches and players after the Citadel and Wofford losses. It took 10 quarters for the players to get it, but once they did they were lights out. I have been...

I agree.with you. To play 8 conference games and not come to a consensus on the field is a travesty.Robert Norton wrote:DJ today said tie with ASU/GSU/WC would go to the coin flip. How do you do this. Seems I remember this before and we lost the auto bid.

Re: SoCon Tie-Breaker Rules
I had not read your entry on AppNation before I posted, but I am in agreement with your assessment of the rules. I think that you go to the points allowed if there are still multiple ties. I could be wrong.

Re: SoCon Tie-Breaker Rules
If I read the rules correctly, a win against FU locks up the automatic berth. In the event of a three way tie with GSU, Wofford, and us, the tie goes to overall record against the other two. Since everyone is 1-1 , we move to tie breaker two which is record against the next best team (UTC). Which we...

Re: Everyone should be happy with this one!
I think what is happening is that ASU has gotten a reputation for doing that stuff and the officials are most eager to throw the flags on us. I watched the video feed yesterday and I have seen much worse and questioned all day the antics of Speir on the field ( I think it was a bit WWF wrestling ki...

I liked the helmets as well but your right. The big Tarheel foot was cartoonish. These multiple uniforms are getting out of hand IMO. Carolina has used 3 different jerseys and 4 helmets this year.

Travaris Cadet
I'm not sure that anyone knew this but Travaris got into the New Orleans-Tampa game late in the 4th. He lined up as a wideout. The announcers felt it compelling news to announce his presence. Of course Dick Stockton, who was calling the game pronounced our school name incorrectly.

Re: Wofford loss is on Satterfield
I totally diagree with the blame being on SS. SS is playing with the hand that he was dealt. There are five QB's on our roster (JJ, Magloire, Bryant, Barnes, and Hallock (sp?). None of which were recruited by SS to run his offense. JJ may very well be ASU's very first NFL QB. He has the size, speed...

Re: Wofford loss is on Satterfield
You are not picking on JJ at all. I believe you give him more credit than I do. I think he is ok but never had even considered him having a chance in the NFL. SS is right on with decision making. JJ just takes to long and makes some bad decisions. With that said the OL does not exactly give him a t...

Re: Some things that need saying
I've watched the replay of the fumble several times and while the refs explanation that it came loose before his arm moved forward was obviously wrong, the net result was accurate. JJ had clear control control of the ball but did not throw it forward. It was a lateral, which makes it a live ball an...
