Re: The End of Miller Hill?
Does anyone know how much it costs to rent and install those giant bleachers? Not sure, but 3k at $150 per seat is $450k in revenue. I can’t imagine that it would cost more than that. To put this into perspective for Cline, 3k on the hill at $20 per times 7 games is $420k. So after the 1st game, we...

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
The ones in the present student section stand up the whole time anyway. Seating would be a waste and hold less fans by far. Leave it alone and spend money more wisely. So how many people can we put on the hill? A hell of a lot more than if we built concrete and aluminum to stand up on...because stu...

Re: Away tickets
Houston offers two airport options and with United having a hub at Bush, you can probably get a direct flight.Blackshirt68 wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 10:30 amWhat is the best airport to arrive for the A&M game? Plan to leave from RDU.

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
Just because someone has a ticket(s) in the stands doesn't mean they sit there or stay there. I've seen many times that a season ticket holder went to sit with friends who got GA tickets on the hill. Others go when the sun is blinding them or for various other reasons. I always chuckle when I hear ...

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
Put the band directly under the scoreboard. Students need all seating on Miller hill plus the west side. We have one of the best home records in all of FBS. We have almost 50% of the student body attending games. Please don’t restrict their love of their school and football team. They bring the envi...

Re: Playoff Hockey
Will definitely not pull for the Bolts as they have been the team the Canes cannot beat playoff time. However, I have to give their fans props for showing up in force for regular season games. I was in Tampa for business a few months ago. We attended the Tampa/Phoenix Coyotes (whatever they are cal...

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
It looks like this could be just before the start of the third quarter. The band appears to be filing into their seats and the officials appear to be lined up for a kickoff.

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
Coastal Game-- The Hill is packed, but we didn't sell all of the tickets in all four upper corners. They really miss Anderson in net. Raanta has played well, but he just isn’t ready to be a #1.

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
I’ve read these different takes on the App baseball situation and the references to facility “rankings” (so to speak). Aside from our stadium what else is there that either pushes us up or down this ranking? Are we really losing stud players due to facilities? Let’s assume we are funding scholarshi...

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
We have a ton of competition for in state talent and our climate does play a factor in recruiting. Teams do use it against us in terms of climate and practice facilities.
