Re: Strength and Conditioning

Couldn't disagree more. We would not be 1-5 if JM was still coaching. Yes, many have seen problems coming for years, yes our OL got pushed around in the playoffs, but everyone of our OL starters returned after going 8-4 and winning a conference title. I refuse to believe that the entire OL unit wou...

Re: Somewhat football related question...

Ok, from time to time I like to pose this question and see how many early 90s App alumni remember a ridiculous event that happened around this time of year. I'll set the scene....1992....Game 7 of the NLCS....Braves vs. Pirates. Yes, the Sid Bream play for those who remember that magical comback. M...

Re: Strength and Conditioning

I'm not sure our record would be any different if JM were coaching this year. Thoughts on this? I know it is pointless but was just wondering others thoughts... Many could see this coming in the past few years with the way our linemen were getting pushed around. Especially in the playoffs. Couldn't...

Re: the jug

Serious question. If we are 1-10 when we play WCU and we lose to them, should Scott be fired immediately following that game? I'm still waiting for the "serious question" you were going to pose. I think that is a serious question. I am not calling for anyone to be fired at this point and I usually ...

At least it is in November, that is a brutal start time in late August and September but should be okay by November.

Re: Is this the future?

To say we have been sliding for the past 4 years is dumb. No, to not realize a lot of things have gone backwards in the last 5 or so years is dumb. We are paying a steep price today for the lack of quality offensive line recruiting several years ago. Not keeping good relations with a lot of high sc...

Re: Going Forward

Once you see any game action you can not be redshirted. You can get a medical redshirt if you have played in less than 20% of the games, so that would be possible. The problem with that issue is that he is not playing based on a suspension for an arrest, not an injury. Doubt the NCAA would grant a m...

Re: Thank God for Marcus Cox

He appears to be a stud and should be a really good one for a long time to come. Hard to imagine with his emergence and returning 10 of 11 on the offensive side of the ball that we still don't put up many points. RB was the one concern I had on offense and now it is one of the most promising positio...

Re: Satterfield blamed the players in the post game intervie

"I tried to say after Montana game how much of a joke the strength program was for the football team. The physicality of both lines is shining through now. Small guys. Not tough. And weight room hasn't helped them" This is the most telling point to me, we don't seem to be in the same kind of conditi...

Re: ESPN College Gameday to FCS School

This is a really big deal for North Dakota State and FCS in general. I know there are not many good games this week on the FBS schedule but to actually do the entire GAME DAY show from the campus of North Dakota State is unbelievable to me. I wonder what the thinking at ESPN is on this one.

Re: Wofford-Ga Southern

If I'm Scott, my motivation to the team is that now we can be the transitional team that runs through the SoCon on a "Farewell Tour" to show just how ready for primetime we are. I know that this may not motivate many of the seniors, but at least it's something other than pride. I still maintain tha...

Re: Maybe This Will Humble Our Fans A Little

Major fault to me was not putting Bryant into the game a lot earlier. Satterfield has to make faster realistic decisions. at least he took him out. Moore would have left him in to finish I don't think that is necessarily the case, Moore did take out a senior DP when he was struggling, and ironicall...

Re: Ask Me Anything For My Blog

What happens when we start FBS play and we start haing sub .500 seasons. Will we lose any mojo we once had as a championship program? If we end up going to a bowl game and the stadium sounds like the crowd at Wofford. Will gonzo eat his words? I would say we have long since lost any mojo we had fro...

Clearly that isn't the case when he has been drinking or we would still have him on the active roster.

Now it really feels like game week. This prediction thread always gets me pumped and looking forward to Saturday. Great job as always. Since we start a new era on Saturday I am abandoning my previous 'no prediction' stance and joining the masses. We end our west of the Mississippi trend! Mountaineer...

That is a significant change. I wonder of other States will follow and propose similar laws or if North Carolina will stand as the sole beacon of light.

Re: Football Prediction Correction

I would love to see us put up 30+ between the hedges, but that doesn't happen often and even less often by non SEC teams. I just don't see us scoring on them that much. They may only return 5 starters on defense but the game is in November, every member of that defense will be very experienced by th...
