Re: Pizza
There is still a village inn pizza in lenoir I think. And I did like the pizza from the pizzeria at school. Their website still shows it open. I was there last 11-12 years ago. I remember going there with my dad before he passed away. For some reason it seems we are there the day of the JMU playoff...

Re: Pizza
It looked to either be that shuttered or close to it. Of course when I was passing through and realized what it was it may have been off hours. They have a website that seems active however.

Re: Orlando Sentinel
OS is consistent in that he over rates the schools you listed. Would there be 26 FCS teams in front of AState. That seems a bit high of a number, though I am sure the top FCS is coming in higher than 64 out of 250 or so teams. I don't see that many FCS teams pushing that high. For every NDSU there i...

Re: Pizza
There is still a Village Inn in Salisbury. Still pretty decent. Yes, across from the Salisbury Mall. I thought it good. I jump off I-85 and proceed to commit the sin of gluttony and then take some back roads to Davidson. The last time I was there I jumped up at the same time a hot pie came out of t...

Re: Pizza
Village Inn rules. My SR year, we would drive down the mtn each Friday after classes and gourge ourselves. I always liked Papa's Pizza which was very close to VI pizza in taste and the thin crispy crust. Papa's was closer to home growing up so we did that pizza parlor most often unless we were in H...

Re: Orlando Sentinel
How has the author's listing compared to the RPI and other polls that are not pure opinion at mid-season and end of season in year's past? Just how good of a predictor is the author? Anyone looked into this?

Re: Pizza
I do think Village Inn is an acquired taste. I just really like the super thin crispy crackeresque type crust.

Pizza
I love Village Inn Pizza. I wished they had a restaurant closer to the Triad than Statesville. Maybe I would not completely engorge myself in such an unhealthy manner if I knew I could have this pizza a bit more often than I do, which has been a few times a year since I moved away from that side of ...

Re: Orlando Sentinel
I get that these are only predictions from one source, but how is Troy still out there? They are replacing their four year starter at QB and their belll cow RB. And they lose 6 starters on defense. They set up very similar to us on offense. Good depth at receiver but will have an unproven commodity...

On the UNCC board most of their fans seem to think it will take a lose to Fordham to even begin the discussion.

I had not thought about Atlantic City and that is not a bad idea especially the lighthouse. 15 years ago my wife and I visited the casino near Tampa. We drive 30 min from my in-laws. Spent 10-15 finding a parking spot. Walked around the casino floor for 15 min and played slots for about 10 minutes. ...

Also the ASU center in hickory where the old Nichols store used to be. The DC house was sold a few years ago. Zonng changed so a loft type.place could not go there and I guess the money was not there to replace it. Shame they could not find something in the metro DC area near the Metro line-that wou...
