Re: 2017 Composite Ranking
As Coach Moore always said, be the best you can. I agree 89, a target on our back is a good indicator of success.

Re: UGA Talks Appalachian State
I majored in Communications at App I also drank a lot of beer in college. But, now that we've matured and are productive members of society, it's more like: https://www.google.com/search?q=i+don%27t+drink+often+but+when+i+do+i+like+to+drink+a+lot+of+it+poster&tbm=isch&imgil=OqTkvFU2rYknpM%253A%253B...

Re: Caruso transferring
If JP starts for Delaware I'll be following their progress the next two season. I'd be surprised if he didn't start. Would enjoy seeing JP in the FCS playoffs for sure!!

Re: 11-1 and SBC champs per Massey Ratings
Regarding the Miami game, Richt out-coached Satt. Yes Miami had better players, but they used them very well and exploited our weaknesses. I think Satt would admit that as well. It was a tough learning experience for a program, from head coach to players, who had never been in that position of host...

Re: 11-1 and SBC champs per Massey Ratings
I will say this - and those who have read my posts over the years will know this is rare for me - and that is - The Wake Forest game is the most important game we have played since the 3rd NC game victory over Delaware - If we don't beat a middle of the pack ACC team on our home field, a school we ...

Re: Predicting Top 25 Defenses
If you're only going to recover one fumble all year might as well make it the game winner. James Madison game a few years back comes to mind for example.

Re: Predicting Top 25 Defenses
Agreed, however, recovering that fumble into the end zone at Tennessee would have been sweet!!AppDawg wrote:Personally, fumbles are nice, but I'd rather wrap up and ensure the tackle is made than risk arm tackling by trying to force a ball loose.

Re: Satt or Fox?
Just saw where Satt got the extension. I know it likely doesn't change anything if a good P5 program comes calling, but it's great to have him "locked in" even if it's on paper. We are so fortunate to have a successful coach who truly bleeds black and gold. Congrats coach. And, not only does he ble...

Re: Coastal
If there is any consolation we will finish ahead of Monroe (West Division). There still is one game left and it sure would be nice for the team to go out with a win over the current CWS Champs.

Re: Coastal
Just thinking the same, the team was performing a lot better during the first half of the season. I realize the competition has gotten a little tougher down the stretch, however, it does appear they have dropped off somewhat. I'm still hoping for a win in the next two games to avoid the cellar, unfo...

Hope we can take at least one game, however, when you haven't scored a run in 16 consecutive innings it's hard to win.

Re: Coastal
As was the case at ETSU a few weeks back another costly error (catcher to third base). Once again third baseman misses the catch, same errors over and over.

Re: Wake Forest
Long winter and spring indeed. Another year of 3 of our 4 major Men's sports teams being not just bad, but fighting to avoid finishing dead last. We can and must do better than this, because being a one trick pony is not going to take us where we want to go. As we gladly turn our attention to our b...
