Re: Shooting at UNC Charlotte
No one Seriously is targeting legal gun owners. The 2nd amendment ain’t going anywhere. BUT There are things that can be done. Do you really need an AR-15? Do you really need high capacity mags? Can’t you wait a while longer to get the gun? What’s wrong with a national database? Do you need a gun b...

Re: Parking deck
If that is done by August I'd be shocked. In most places it takes 18-24 months to construct a parking deck. When did they actually start on it? January? Matt Dull: Sure. I guess let's start with the parking deck. It's coming along nicely. If you've been over by the site, you've seen a lot of underg...

Re: North Carolina lawmakers seek to allow alcohol sales at college sporting events
There's a HUGE difference between studying an event that already happened (incidents of drunken behavior at football games), and predicting an event that will happen (presidential elections; the weather). I hope you know the difference. " What I know is that many who drink often get drunk. More ava...

Re: North Carolina lawmakers seek to allow alcohol sales at college sporting events
I think that this would be a great stadium experience addition. The Yosef Club could sell bracelets for $5 so an individual is only ID'ed once and then let vendors sell the beer in loop around Miller Hill. Or maybe only Yosef Club members can buy beer or wine.

Third UNC Chancellor bites the dust
Still no leader at WCU and now a fourth vacancy. UNC BOG is out of control. "Steve Long, a member of the UNC Board of Governors, said in a written statement Monday that Staton was pushed out by board Chairman Harry Smith over "politics, not the chancellor's performance." Long essentially called for ...

Lame.
The Athletics Dept needs to get a professional marketing person who understands social media and placement and timing of teasers. At this point they are the boy who cried wolf.

Re: Big News Coming Soon?
Jesus fellas nothing other than a donation gets the #makeanimpact hashtag. If it was anything else it would have just said “important announcement coming” Have you ever seen a tweet from Doug Gillin?? Go back and look at his twitter account from the last 30 days. If #makeanimpact is used less than ...

Re: Big News Coming Soon?
It is mind numbingly stupid to tease a big announcement on a Friday morning and not make the announcement by the following Monday afternoon. Instead of creating excitement, you're creating resentment at this point. Exactly. We obviously have a weakness with whomever is running our social media.... ...

The teaser didn't use the #makeanimpact term. It only references AppstateSorts.com and the ticket office telephone number.
