We will have to win the tournament to get in, but we still need good performances from our non-conference opponents to improve our seed line should we win. Being a 12 over a 13 or 14 would look awfully good.

No one wants to hear this, and for the record I really like the Sun Belt, but there are reputational advantages to the American.

There also used to be for CUSA and the MAC. But I will give that the American is a larger hill to climb.

This is one of those goofy (way too far to travel) conference games that can be a challenge to remain focused on. Just go there and play our game and get the W even if it's 8 points or so.

More $$$ for our assistants is always a good way to ensure a degree of increased continuity, but we shouldn't fret too much over losing someone to a P5. In fact, it shows that the health of the program is good. Now, if we are losing coaches to other G5s, that's where we have a problem.
