Re: Board of trustees
IF it’s Gattis I imagine he would finish coaching Alabama through the playoffs.

Re: Josh Gattis
Well I answered my own question, in 2016 the Temple coach got paid $2.5M. Guess it really is a better job.

Re: ESPN Gameday
I can see how you would get it wrong just from listening. Everything they said was bad but then 3 of them picked us anyway.

Re: MBB vs. NCCU
Our school is never going to take the next step conference wise unless we pull a solid basketball program out of our ass. No fan support and we struggle to win games. It’s a chicken or the egg problem.

Re: If we hire tomorrow
In regard to Gattis, I think he’s the best coach we could hire. He’s been involved in winning a Big10, ACC, and SEC championships and is probably about to win a national championship. I wonder if it would even get him excited to try and win a Sun Belt championship after all of that.

Coach Moore wasn’t Nick Saban but he’s still the greatest coach App State has ever had.

Re: Great Article on replacement options
With the exception of Boise State and UCF last year I honestly think this is the best G5 job you could get if you’re trying to move up in the world. You can’t hardly find a program that already wins this much at any level.

This guy would be a fantastic head coach at an FCS program or a fantastic coordinator at App.

Re: Early: possible replacements?
We are loaded next year but I hope our fans aren’t so dumb to think their won’t be growing pains with basically a whole new staff and possibly new system. We will probably hire someone familiar with App but there will be a lot of changes. Next year might be a 6-5 type year easily.

Their win against UAB in the season finale tells me they are capable of beating us. We better show up.

Re: Why don't we
If I were AD I would try to schedule 2 P5 bottom feeders a year kinda like UCF has done. Scheduling Auburn and Clemson and finishing 9-2 does nothing for us. We need to go undefeated with 1 or 2 P5 wins to make the NY6 Bowl which is essentially our national G5 Championship at this point.

Re: The Rock is Blue
I don’t mind it personally. I was just at the Sun Belt Volleyball Championship Game and the whole gym at Georgia State was covered in Sun Belt banners. For me it was a constant reminder that this isn’t just another game it’s a championship and it actually kind of hyped it up. I feel like it’ll do th...

We are accustomed to winning yes. But no one has EVER won the Sun Belt Championship Game and seeing as bringing down the goal posts a few times are some of my best memories from college...let the kids have some fun.

Re: Louisville to meet with Satt after ULL
Honestly I think a better career move would be to go be a P5 coordinator somewhere elite like Clemson or Alabama. Louisville went 0-8 in the ACC this year and the ACC was absolute garbage outside of Clemson. That is a multi-year fix and their fans are impatient. If his first season he only wins 2 AC...
