Re: EPL Question
You should watch “Sunderland til I die” on Netflix. Aside from being a pretty interesting sports documentary, it follows Sunderland for two seasons. Prior to the first season they were relegated from the Prem to the Championship and Season 1 follows their battle in the lower division/financial woes...

Re: EPL Question
I'm no fanatic - don't really follow it all actually. But I do know they have "parachute" payments to help relegated teams adjust to the lower TV revenue. I suspect that is one of the reasons teams tend to bounce back and forth from year to year - relegated one year and promoted back the next. Also...

Re: 4 Star Commits to Charlotte
Charlotte is taking a risk, but as long as they are using legit tools to get the kid eligible, I don't really have a problem with it. There are plenty of programs out there doing this all the time. On a personal level, I hope he is able to take advantage of the opportunity given him and get it done...

Daniel is one of our greatest ambassadors with a national stage. This seems like an odd critique.

Re: I hope this has legs. Expanded playoffs
I love our school and football program, but as long as we play a G5 Sunbelt conference schedule, we will never deserve a top 4 spot. You can’t convince me otherwise. Can I convince you that with those feelings maybe you don't really love App and/or the football program. Joking aside, and I am jokin...

Re: I hope this has legs. Expanded playoffs
I love our school and football program, but as long as we play a G5 Sunbelt conference schedule, we will never deserve a top 4 spot. You can’t convince me otherwise. I’d like to to see 8 (5 P5 winners, 2 at large P5’s and best G5). Or maybe 12 but ONLY if the first 4 got a BYE. Even with 12 though, ...

Re: Michigan game rewatch
I too was a senior that year and a friend of mine came up the mountain to watch the game with me at a sports bar. He had the best line of the day. Normally very quiet, he jumps up in the middle of this crowded bar just after Dexter housed his first TD and yells, “That’s how we go three and out!” I ...

Re: Got a great laugh from this
This is quite funny, but I personally don't like talking trash to a blood rival that is currently on a two game winning streak against us. But it's still funny and very true. Totally agree. We have zero bragging rights over them right now. They single handily are the reason we didn’t play Penn Stat...

Re: What is Bar for 2020 Football Season?
Tough to say. I’d measure it in realistic goals vs expectations. I say “realistic” goals because while I get goals are stretches, I’m also not going to sit here and say “our goal is to win the National Championship in 2020”. Because that’s just not possible. Yet. Expectations - 9+ wins I see 6 games...

Re: Coastal Carolina...Monday. Go App!!!!!!!
This is pathetic all the way around. Zero atmosphere in the HCC (I was starting to wonder if the band was even there). No music. No lights. No fans. Deflated team. Kudos to Kerns on a winning season, but this is genuinely hard to watch. THIS is why no one goes to the games. It's garbage basketball ...
