Not surprised! Must not have met his salary requirements OR the APR mess turned him off. Or both.

Re: VMI going for 23; Murray State going for 22
I'd love to see VMI and Murray St. in the CIT finals. I'd drive to Lexington, VA or Murray, KY to see that game. Both of those programs do it the right way. I love to see teams like that become successful.

Re: The ASU coaching search and potential candidates to disc
UNCW just hired Kevin Keatts, assistant at Louisville. If he doesn't keep the staff, we should make a play to get Biedenbach as an associate head coach. Agreed! That would be a strong move; and a popular one with me. EddieB is a good position coach and a good guy. Would make the staff stronger. He ...

Kelvin's going to the Houston Cougars. Lutz should consider Kellen for the fourth (limited earnings) assistant.

I haven't seen Anyone mention Cliff Ellis. Took Coastal to the NCAA this year. Any thoughts? I have none but curious if he's on anyone's list? Two time ACC coach of the year at Clemson, two time SEC coach of the year at Auburn and just took Coastal to the dance. Also was National coach of the ear i...

Chad Dollar at GaTech also fits the Cobb template. Experience from WCU to EKU to LSU to Arkansas State to Murray State to Wichita State to GaTech. That's directly in and around the SunBelt.

How much time passes between retirement and emeritus status? Dr. Mamola in Physics and Astronomy retired last summer. I don't know anyone that is more deserving than he is of recent retirements. I may have missed something, but I don't think he has been granted this status yet. I think I noticed hi...

That $60,000 USF spent on a search firm has cost Masiello the coaching job there. The search firm found some, as yet, undisclosed discrepancy in Masiello's background check. USF rescinded the $1+ million per season, 5-year contract. Now Masiello is in limbo; no job at USF and unclear as to whether ...

I looked last week on the ASU site for the job posting and there was none. T-Dog posted on the 24th that there was a job posting. I know we have discussed on here before but I am thinking there is a 10 day minimum in NC for the posting....correct me if wrong....for public job postings..... Looks li...

I'm not aware that CC's appointed an interim coach. Who's looking after the kids? Somebody had better be doing that in spades. It would be awfully easy for some of our young lions to go astray--again!

His resignation was from out of the clear blue and took the Houston fandom by complete surprise and disappointment. Kelvin Sampson just happens to be across town with the Houston Rocke...
