Re: St. Petersburg Bowl vs. Houston
Stewart Mandel, whoever he is, has us playing Houston in the St. Petersburg Bowl in December 26 due to a lack of qualifying ACC teams. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/stewart-mandels-college-football-bowl-projections-for-all-40-games/ss-AAkUG0X?ocid=spartandhp#image=1 I would go. Houston wou...

Re: St. Petersburg Bowl vs. Houston
Not the ideal time or date for me, but it's not about me. I knew this could happen when the talks of moving up started. I want what's best for the program. Win against Houston would be huge, even if it meant I had to watch at home.

Re: Basketball unis. Yuck
Back to the uniforms. Thus us what happens when you let the players have too much input. This outfit has to be the most horrible thing worn by any App team ever. Jesus Christ. God forbid the kids/players/team choosing what they like instead of asking AppinATL for input. Anything without a block A a...

Re: I Know it Gets Old, But it Never Gets Old
Speaking of calls. ACC will see to it that Clemson gets it. Pac 12 will see to it that Washington gets in. Alabama won't need help, but I'm sure officiating will ay a role of its close (Although Bama still gets in with a loss IMO). Ohio State will get in although they didn't win or even play in thei...

Re: App @ UNCC
Our basketball program has gone to complete shit. Due in large part to the coaching situation after Houston departed. It will take a long time not just to get the right team together, but also attract the somewhat decent crowds (Speaking from when I was in school). Crowds werent sold out, but they w...

Re: stAte vs Georgia - We need to renegotiate
The Tennessee game was a reminder that the boys from App State come ready to play. With that being said, I think we keep the UGA game close, but lose by a respectable margin. Wake will be one hell of a game. Probably will remain close, which will keep fans around longer (Hopefully). Winnable, but to...

So if the uniforms looked better the thread might read: Got our asses kicked in Cameron...but we look good! Keeping with the early 90s theme pointed out by EastHall Sounds like something Billy Hoyle would say to Sidney Deane Team got to eat at Sizzler on the way home That performance looked like th...

I agree. Almost as if our players should have bowl cuts and high top fades with LA Gears as the team shoe.EastHallApp wrote:The shorts have some serious early '90s tackiness going on.

Re: NMSU Game
If targeting occurs in the first half, the player misses the first half of the next game. If it occurs in the second half they miss the entire next game.

Not a fan of those Sunkist looking shorts. Like the yellow uniforms I am sure they will grow on me, but not right now.

Re: Need Sugar Mountain ski accommodations
Wish I could help. I usually rent cabins through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Had a group of 10 for the Miami game, ended up coming to $88 a piece for both nights combined. February is usually when you will find the lowest prices. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them, whether it be ho...

Re: @ DOOK
If Bolden and Tatum play it could get ugly. I think Giles sits out longer and will have a Kyrie Irving type career at Duke. If they are all still resting, I think App can keep it respectable. Upset I couldn't make the game, but as EastHall pointed out tickets are too steep for me to go.

Re: Football next year ---
It will be interesting to see who replaces Marcus Cox. Jalin Moore will be the starter, but as much as we run, a reliable second choice RB will be needed. I would imagine Evans would be a leading candidate but, off season and camp will be interesting and I expect some good battles.

I live in Mooresville and work for Wells Fargo in Charlotte. The Mooresville area is growing fast. Lots of new restaraunts and things to do. I commute to Charlotte via bus. Catch the bus in Davidson and let someone else worry about driving through the I77 traffic. The Mooresville Graded School Dist...
