Re: Satterfield to Cincinnati?
I think it's pretty safe to say we all love Boone. Cincinatti is still a pretty good place to live even through your black and gold colored shades.

Re: Shawn Elliot new Ga State Head Coach
Sure many will disagree but i think GaSt has the potential to be a sleeping giant, at least in terms of G5 schools. If Shawn can recruit I think GaSt will start causing problems in the SBC sooner than later.

Re: Satterfield to Cincinnati?
For those saying Satt should just hold out for a P5 job....can you name me a coach that has been plucked from the SBC for a P5 job at a school they have not previously coached at? It's a serious question. I can only think of Freeze and Malzahn and they both coached at Ole Miss and Auburn respective...

Re: Satterfield to Cincinnati?
I feel like the Cincinnati job is Luke Fickell's if he wants it. This is what it's kind of sounding like to me, too. Hope he'll take it if offered, sounds like things are heating up there. Dan Wolken disagrees. Says Fickell is in the mix but it's not his for the taking. I saw where someone said Sat...

Re: St. Petersburg Bowl vs. Houston
We don't want Houston. Lamb would throw for 30 yards in that game. That is a terrible matchup for us. They beat Oklahoma soundly. They played with Louisville before blowing them out. They are where hopefully we can get to. I think we should temper our expectations just a tad. Obviously if we play t...

Re: St. Petersburg Bowl vs. Houston
Two ways to look at this: 1. If you actually want this program to continue to grow and be seen nationally there is almost no better bowl game we can play. 2. If you just want to be able to attend he game and not miss Christmas with the family then there may not be a worse bowl game for you. I perso...

Back to the uniforms. Thus us what happens when you let the players have too much input. This outfit has to be the most horrible thing worn by any App team ever. Jesus Christ. God forbid the kids/players/team choosing what they like instead of asking AppinATL for input. Anything without a block A a...

Re: NCAA Violation Announcement
So from the one tweet I saw it looks like we got fined $5k and publicly reprimanded because Chris Foster sent over 400 impermissible texts to a recruit. Looks like we now know why he was given his walking papers.

Re: Lamb?
I'm not saying Caruso isn't good and maybe he'll end up starting a year for us, but there is a reason he is the backup. And from what I had read during summer camp he had trouble winning the back up spot.

Re: Clock Management
Yeah 2 minute drills obviously aren't Satts specialty yet. On the bright side he is still very early in his HC career and I'm sure he'll improve and the 2 experiences this year will probably help in the long run. Another thing I wanted to see was to stop switching out Jalin and Marcus. It was obviou...
