Yep last year the deck was stacked against us. Attendance will be up considerably this year.

Re: Billy Jones Fired
I admit to not paying much attention to baseball lately but with the record I can see why. No way to justify keeping this guy around.

Re: Season Tickets - How Are We Doing?
Just like the cups and ice debacle we need to roll back the overreaching restrictions on tailgating that Cobb put in place.

Disrespect? I don't think so. Where does he need to rank in a preseason poll in order to have the proper respect?

Re: Season Tickets - How Are We Doing?
I agree it is going to take time for the fanbase to learn the conference and for rivalries to be established but you can't get there if you don't attend the games. I know we probably lost a few season ticket holders when coach Moore exited and a few more that wanted to stay FCS but the drop in seaso...

Re: Season Tickets - How Are We Doing?
I'm not taking blame away from our fans in the event we don't have good season ticket sales prior to the 2016 season, but it certainly doesn't help that when you google "season tickets Appalachian State" only the 2015 season tickets article shows up. There isn't the proper link to 2016 ticket info ...

I think the 49ers got a deal. Blair is undervalued as a 5th rounder.

Re: David Jackson Resigns
I'm also a little surprised that they couldn't work something out where they increase his administrative duties and just let him work football games and hire someone new to do the basketball. But then I'm not at all familiar with the nuts and bolts of an athletic department.

Re: David Jackson Resigns
Oh the memories! David did so much more for this program than call games, I hope we can get someone who will also bleed black and gold. I knew it was not going to be the same when Brownie left the booth and Rick Beasley moved on. Now this. Gotta keep rolling.

Re: Future home games
You want these games???? really??? Well then --- Why not Western Carolina or Elon Because Western's AD only will continue to schedule App if it was a home and home and I'd like to have our players with functioning knees, which couldn't happen after playing Elon. WCU is delusional in so many ways...

Re: Sherrill article on season tickets and YOSEF Club changes.
Does anyone know the deadline to renew Yosef and Season Tickets? Is there a date that it has to be in by? Usually it is sometime in April, but not sure about this year. Come to think of it, I still haven't received my renewal letter with all of the changes outlined on here. I think it is normally a...

Liberty will never ever happen, it's about more than money and their football is decidedly not "great".

Re: NC State Looking at Ledford?
All I got to say is paying a position coach $275,000 is bordering on the absurd. And this is at NC State! WTF is wrong with us?
Nothing against Ledford at all.

Re: MBB: RPI #24 Texas-Arlington(10-2) @ RPI #342 ASU(2-11) 7:30 HCC
This is the football folder by the way... I wish to beg your pardon; just in fun, but with a small a spoonful of seriousness. I do have a debilitating eye condition that is ongoing and beyond treatment. There's no cure. It will eventually leave me blind. I'm almost to the "no more driving stage." I...

Re: Charlie Cobb was right ---
It never is an argument until Yosef 10 makes it an argument. He or she feels it is their personal duty to turn a simple civil adult conversation into an argument. Typically he/she starts by calling a post "stupid". He/she can't accept the fact that people have different views and opinions. Now to a...

Re: Better season: Us or A-State?
What's the point of this thread? Of course we would have traded seasons with you guys. An 11-2 record for us would have meant wins over 2 of La Tech, Missouri, and Toledo. Those would have been some of the biggest wins in our history. Now, trading schedules is another matter entirely. We would neve...

Re: Better season: Us or A-State?
I have a difficult time saying a 4 loss season is better than a 2 loss season. The Arkansas State team is the conference champion that speaks for itself but I would not trade our season for theirs. Period.

Re: Charlie Cobb was right ---
Cobb was wrong and so is the OP. ASU, GSU and other schools that were at the top of FCS have for years been able to compete with G5 and many non elite P5 teams, we just never got to play them. You can't compare the handful of dominant FCS programs to the rest of FCS. It isn't a SB thing, it's a grea...
